Why isn't there a 9-11 thread in this here Conspiracy folder? Good heavens, that's just about unthinkable! The 9-11 conspiracy theory is just about overshadowing every other ct out there-- even the JKF assassination ct.

One pops up about once a month and the nutcases flame out after a few rounds of rebuke. Care to start the discussion?

Why am I not surprised?

Well, maybe it's not a good idea after all. I was just wondering, but now you've told me.

When it comes to the 9-11 ct, I am a skeptic: that is, I need a better, clearer argument for a conspiracy. Everything that I have read and heard so far is too self-contradictory and loose-ended. Also, some of the arguments are very refutable.
That being said, I am not convinced that everything is on the up & up, either. The way that the Bush administration pinned (by implication) the whole thing on Iraq was fishy at best.

Well they pinned it on Al Qaida/Taliban/Afghanistan. Saudi Arabia got a pass of which they have an unlimited supply, it seems. They encouraged folks to believe Iraq was connected to Al Qaida as a way to build support for the Iraq invasion. Bin Laden's agenda was to induce the west to send in their armies so more infidels could be killed (assuming the Western powers will not give up their Middle East and Asian interests easily). It's a lot easier to kill infidels over there, he reasoned. After all, highly successful terrorist attacks (like 9/11) are difficult to pull off from such a great distance, IMHO.

So sorry to be so dis-arcane.

Sounds like a nut job to me. I have heard the name but that's it. Anyway, he's not nearly as believable as Al Gore!

Well they pinned it on Al Qaida/Taliban/Afghanistan.

Why? Did they claim responsibility?

quote:

Saudi Arabia got a pass of which they have an unlimited supply, it seems.

In spite of the fact that most of the alleged terrorists were Arabs . . .

quote:

They encouraged folks to believe Iraq was connected to Al Qaida as a way to build support for the Iraq invasion.

While this makes sense, do you have any evidence that Saudi Arabia actually encouraged the U.S. to invade Iraq in retaliation for 9-11?

quote:

Bin Laden's agenda was to induce the west to send in their armies so more infidels could be killed (assuming the Western powers will not give up their Middle East and Asian interests easily). Now, this does not make sense to me.
First of all, did Bin Laden take credit for 9-11?
Second, even if he did do it, did he not prove that his well-orchestrated terrorist blitz was far more effective than his ability to engage in ground battle with the U.S.?

Im neither here or there on 911, but I do believe there is alot more evil in high places than we can ever know. I believe that the root cause of 911 has become an non issue and world power is becoming the goal imo.

Gods eyes are everywhere and for that Im eternally grateful, I leave it in his trustworthy hands.

It pretty much goes without saying that 9-11 was at the very least a terrorist conspiracy. The question remains: who else was in on it?

I think all the super rich of the world were in on it.

Those in the Carylye Group.

http://www.hereinreality.com/carlyle.html

And as the Carlyle investors watched the World Trade towers go down, the group's prospects went up. In running what its own marketing literature spookily calls "a vast, interlocking, global network of businesses and investment professionals" that operates within the so-called iron triangle of industry, government, and the military, the Carlyle Group leaves itself open to any number of conflicts of interest and stunning ironies.

I think that these tychoon hobgoblins probably profit from the WoT, but that doesn't mean that they cooked up 9-11. I mean, what a complicated mess it would be to stage such a gross act of terrorism and somehow make it look like someone else did it, and expect those who know better to stay quiet.

I know darned well that it wasn't the Bush administration. The same people who so badly botched-up in Iraq cannot have pulled off 9-11.
