Status: offline 		Ok, so what do you do with those Broccoli stalks? They're tough and I don't particularly enjoy eating them... do you put yours in a soup? Or do you use it to season a vegetable broth?

And what else do you put into a vegetable soup? What's off-limits? If you had extra jalapeno's, would you include them? I know there are no steadfast rules, but what do YOU do? I'm trying to increase my repertoire here, so I need some ideas.

Status: offline 		That's what I used to do... but now there's no compost pile, unless I take it to my parents' house. And since there's still nutrients in it, and I don't use the compost, well, I eat it.

Status: offline 		I chop up the broccoli stalk and add it in with my dog's dinner. Or give it to my pet bunnies.
