Actually, I'm not sure if a life-jacket is considered clothing or not...but.... Anyway, my husband left two child's life jackets in our boat for a few weeks. I am not sure what was left in there with them because I wasn't on the boat with them the last time they went...neither were our children, but his neice and nephew used the life jackets we had purchased for the kids. He brought the life jackets in to me and said that he didn't know how they got mold and mildew on them, but to try to get it out. The label says use only hot soapy water to spot clean. I did that, with no results. Any one with ideas of how I can get the stains out?

Thanks. I never even thought of looking at a boat supply store for that type of thing. We have a couple here that we visit on a regular basis...so, I will see if they have this or something similar. Thanks again...

Please, let me know how it works. I have a jacket that has some mold on it where it got let outside in the rain. I sure would like to be able to wear it again.
