I had a dollhouse when I was a kid and loved it! I played with it all the time. A few years ago my parents moved and cleaned out their storage and I expected to get it back. IT WASN'T THERE!!! No one knows what happened to it and we never found it.
I've never gotten into it but I was just talking to my 80-yr-old aunt and she used to do a lot of collecting of miniatures. She was wondering what to do with it all. I told her to try E-Bay!
