My girlfriend and I have been through a tremendous amount together over the last two years. I've grown into a man I'm proud of, learned to love in ways I didn't think I was capable of doing. But my girlfriend is having a hard time with her past, her schooling, her family, just having a hard time in general. Both of our faiths are weak. I've been the strong one in the relationship, but we've decided she needs time on her own to figure this all out. To add to all of this, I've lost my job and all prospects are dead ends. I know the Lord will use this to make us stronger, whether together or apart. She is the love of my life, but I want His perfect Will in our lives whatever that may be. I just want to see her truly happy, surrounded by Godly people. Satan is trying his best to tear her to shreds. Please lift her and myself in prayer. And if you would get us on your churches prayer list, I would be so grateful. In Christ's love,
Spense

Lord, please look down with favor upon Spense and his girlfriend. Help the two of them to be able to endure what lays before them. Allow Spese to be able to find a new job so that he can continue to support himself. Help his girlfriend to over-come the problems of her past and become a stronger person. Most importantly, though, allow both of them to continue to grow and love one another, and also to grow in their faith and love for you.

I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, Our Holy Savior.

Amen.

I know an amazing couple who were youth pastors to two of my kids. They met and she got pregnant at 14. They were both young Christians obviously. She didn't tell her parents until she was actually having the child. Somehow she was able to keep it hidden. After she had the baby they both decided they needed to take care of their individual walks with God and they decided to separate for I think it was a year. They came back together after that year stronger than ever in the Lord, got married, became youth pastors and now have nine children! The point is that they grew strong in the Lord and made Him the center of their lives individually and then together.. Praying for you both. You can make it. It sounds like you have a great start already. Keep going. Thank you Lord for these two and please bless their efforts, draw them close and teach them so that if and when they come back together they will be a strong cord with You at the head. Please keep them both safe under Your care. In Jesus Name. Amen

Hi Spence,

I can sort of relate to what you are going through. My wife and I have been married for 11 years now. Like your girlfriend, my wife is having a difficult time with her past. She was sexually abused as a child. Her faith has been very weak and I have been the strong one for her. I have helped her, encouraged her in the hard times and have been a support for her. She is dealing with depression and is currently getting counseling for her past. Her faith is getting stronger as she heals emotionally. God has truly used our marriage to make me a much stronger christian. He has given me strength that I don't think I would have if I did not walk with her through this.

Lord, I pray for Spense now. I thank You for his faith and for the strength You've given him. I pray You would continue to strengthen him. Bless him and prosper him. I pray You would give him the perfect job, one that will meet all his needs. I pray for their relationship that You would heal it and make their faith stronger through this. Let Your will be done in their lives that they may bring glory to You. Fill them both with peace, Lord and encourage them. Give them both good christian friends that will encourage them and support them.

in Jesus name ,
amen

I pray for you Spense and your girlfriend.....may you know the answer only God can give. It may not come suddenly nor may it be the answer you want but it will be the Will of God. I pray you find a job and know that God takes care of you no matter. Praise Him for He is good.

Thank you for all the beautiful prayers. I'm really touched! We had a good long talk, and have set some goals for her, and myself. Putting it in His hands. Praise be to you Father
