Greetings all,
Grace and peace be multiplied to you from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ. (I find it edifying to begin a letter as Paul did).
Anyways, I am generally a private sort, and do not like to speak of myself, and the only times in which I enjoy speaking, is when I may impart the Word of God to a hearer, that their faith may be increased, which is my joy and reward. Notwithstanding, I will say a little of my life. I grew up west of Chicago, and my parents had both passed away by the age of fifteen, and a neighbor family took me in, which I thank God for; because they understood the royal law. At eighteen, I joined the Army, and was in from 76-87; and remained in Germany. My wife and I have just reached our twenty fifth year of marriage this month; and we have no children, but we have a cat. In 1981, I began in the faith of Christ, but was in and out until 1988, when one day out of no-where, the Lord enlightened the eyes of my understanding, and since then, I study God´s Word three to four hours daily, and it a necessity, as my daily food. Up until 2000, I was an overseer for the churches homeless program, and bi-weekly I had the privilege to speak God´s Word to about two hundred of the least of Christ´s brethren, and there was a german, Russian, and polish interpreter along with me, so that all may hear the message. But because most all forces departed, so most all churches went with them back state-side, and now I speak when a door is opened. I am somewhat new to the computer, but am thankful that I may communicate with fellow Christian, that we may be comforted together by the mutual faith in hearing God´s Word. Sorry so long. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
