Check out a local Christian bookstore. The clerks there may be able to order something that fits your need exactly.

ORIGINAL: lizard_king420 I not only want a bible but I want one that has a very elaborate cover, such as : http://cgi.ebay.com/1857-Douay-Rheims-Catholic-Bible-complete-Haydock-notes_W0QQitemZ170384684349QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAntiquarian_Collectible?hash=item27abb7f53d , or http://cgi.ebay.com/1884-Dore-Illustrated-Embossed-Pictorial-Parallel-Bible_W0QQitemZ170355839504QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAntiquarian_Collectible?hash=item27a9ffd210 , they dont have to be antique but i want them to have elaborate covers like those and detailed pictures inside (not like a childrens picture bible but elaborate pictures here and there.) I would really appreciate any help. And a second priority is to find a bible written in its origional language that fits the above criteria but english is the main priority. Thanks for reading the long post, I appreciate any help. Holy cow!! That's a tall order!! You may have to search online... and may even have to order from overseas. Pictures... like... of Bible stories? Or Bible background stuff (like elevations of Bible times houses, what the tabernacle may have looked like, what the temples might have looked like, maps and such)? I'm not sure of many study Bibles that have ornate covers. And you want the original Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic? Wowzers... You may be able to get a Bible with some of the parameters you've named, but I'm not sure about all of them at once.... unless you're willing to shell out major buckage. Your local Christian bookstore may not carry anything in the store, but they may be able to help you find something and order it. Blessings on your search, and let us know if you've found the treasure you seek!

In 10 years as a Christian bookseller I've never seen anything like that offered for sale. Start combing antique stores, flea markets, and ebay.

im not expecting thing as exact as the tabernacle, i would just like some picture, and hebrew is prefered but english is okay.... but the cover i do want ornate. please help. i already have a bible but the hebrew version is quite diferent. even if it isnt hebrew as long as it fits the other perameters it is fine. but where do i get one. and if i want all of them how much $ would i have to shell out? i dont know hebrew but my faith is strong and i would like to know the origional meaning if posible. and i know the bible isnt an artifact of display... its not somthing i mean to show off. But i want it to look fantastic, not because i intend to show it to my friends but to me it is special and i want it to look like that. plus asthetic appeal will drive my intrest to read it, (although ive already read my free confirmation bible conpletely, but it adds to the fun.) My Priorities are as follows: 1. An ornate cover (I already have a normal bible that I have read completly, but the ornate cover will give me extra drive to read it more often. 2. I want pictures to, becaues lie #1 they add drive for me to read the bible because the pictures add a kind of relief after reading the long text and makes it more interesting. 3. Hebrew (or aramaic i forget which is the origional) is prefered, I currently only know english but my faith is strong and I am willing to learn the language in order to under stand the true meaning because christ is worth more than my money. Im willing to save up for such a thing, I dont expect an authentic bible from ages ago, nor do I expect all my requirements to be met but I would REALLY APPRECIATE any help.... I only have a 56$ dollar weekly allowence, and 1,300 in stocks (my allowence may seem high but my weekly chores take over 25 hours to complete) but i am willing to save up that much for a bible of the highest quality I can afford. Some of you may say weel why not send that money to charity.... and that is a decent thing to say but I will do so in time... but I want this bible first. After that I have no reason to have money so the vast majority will be spent on charity.

Liz, I think your requirements are way too specific. I'm afraid I have to agree with the others: it doesn't sound like what you're after exists. As far as the language thing, you might try getting a Strong's Concordance, but it's not a Bible, simply a language aid.

I currently only know english but my faith is strong and I am willing to learn the language I would encourage you to learn Hebrew before getting a Hebrew Bible. Hebrew is a vastly different language when compared to English. The characters are different, the sounds are different, even the direction you read is different. Find somewhere that offers Hebrew lessons, or look for a good self-study tool for Hebrew. After that, then you can start really looking for a Hebrew Bible. Also, don't forget about the other half of the Bible, the New Testament, which is in Greek.
