Has God Ever "Renewed Your Strength" - 7/21/2008 7:36:38 AM

In the summer of 2003, I was sitting in my house, when a picture of a bald eagle suddenly fell off of my living room wall. Earlier that morning, I had read Isaiah 40 verse 31. After this happened, the Lord spoke to me and told me to go down to a nearby pond. I did, and as I approached, a magnificent bald eagle, with a wing span of seven feet, suddenly took off from the bank, and soared in the air. Bald eagles are rarely sighted here in south Georgia. I felt the presence of our Almighty God as I observed this beautiful sight, and I was revived and renewed in my spirit..
The Lord impressed me to share this with you, too.
1 Chronicles 12 verse 22. "For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God."
Saul was dead, and it was time for David to become King. As a young man, he was anointed by the prophet Samuel, to be the King of Israel. However, Saul was king, and David had to fight some battles to get to the time and place where God wanted him. When this time approached, God sent help from everywhere...they were eager to make David king, and "were of one heart to make David king".
Why was this thing so? It was so because God had ordained it, and nothing could stand against His plans.
When your time of destiny comes, God will send help, and make straight the path wherein you should walk.

This reminds me concerning moving to the area where we currently live. God opened the door and nothing stood in our way.
We may be facing another new situation and I believe the Lord will make His way clear and help again. If it's His will - then like you say - nothing stands in His way.

Almost daily. I could say each and every day if I were faithful. But I sometimes fail to seek His strengthening.

What a beautiful story!
Daily as I walk out on my back patio when the sun comes up I am reminded of something about our precious God.
Yesterday morning I saw the Red Fox cross our neighbor's pasture and I knew it was from God.
This is the 5th or 6th generation of red fox that have traveled across that pasture.
I don't see them real often but when I do, it's a gift for me to treasure.

Something very interesting occured today. While I was at work yesterday I was thinking about these Christian forums when I had remembered a post you had made walkin2e on another thread I had posted on. When I came home I logged on and checked through the forums and had noticed you had started this thread and thought how interesting and beautiful this story was you had posted, thus my response up a few posts. Well, as I went into work today I turned on the light in the cubicle space I'm working in right now and began to do my paper work. I'm covering someone else's job right now while they are gone so it's someone else's space I'm in. Well as I turned my office chair to open a drawer I looked up at the calendar they had on the wall. The picture for the month of July is a Bald Eagle perched on branch looking off somewhere. I was just overtaken by this experience that it I just had to post it. Blessed be our Lord

I think to have any measure of miracle working power for others we must have overcome or "Be overcoming" some infirmity of our own.
The Lord Jesus agonized, physically emotionally and spiritually to pay the price for our sin. He was sinless. So I think in turn to be a deliverer, so-to-speak, we must be in the process of "Being delivered" by THE DELIVERER,
THE RISEN SAVIOUR, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Rom.8
[11] But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Yes, God renews my strength daily, for in Him we live and move and have our being!
