There are gonna be here Friday evening at the North Georgia State Fair. It is Senior day, admission free. Parking is $3.00. Don't think I'll even pay the $3.00 parking fee to see them.

I wouldn't go either. If the venue isn't selling reserved seating in advance, that's very foolish on their part. It will probably be very difficult to get in.

I'd really hate to drive that far and not get to hear them sing.

Yes, THE OAK RIDGE BOYS, America’s favorite singing group have consented to work New Years Eve for the first time in years…and it can be in YOUR home, living room, patio, party barn, wherever you would like! Performing their hits just for you, “Elvira,” “Bobbie Sue,” “Y’all Come Back Saloon,” “Thank God For Kids,” and all the countless others that span an amazing career of over three decades. This is your chance to have an unforgettable evening for you and your invited guests. What a unbelievable way to celebrate a great 2008 and usher in a new year, all in good fun and cheer with The Oak Ridge Boys! “You name the place, enter your winning bid and we will be there,” says Duane Allen of The Oak Ridge Boys. “This one’s for you! I hope someone in Hawaii wins the bid!” adds Joe Bonsall. Get away from the noise and stress of crowds and unknown party-goers with your own top-of-the-line party just for you and your friends. Incredible! No one will have a New Years Eve celebration like you. As a bonus, Blublocker Sunglasses will contribute party favors for up to 200 of your guests! There is no better way to ring in the New Year than spending it with the legendary Oak Ridge Boys in your own private gathering! You are bidding on an actual performance by THE OAK RIDGE BOYS on December 31, 2008. This date must remain completely private and no public advertisements or announcements of any kind will be allowed. Should a public announcement be made, the Artist may cancel the engagement without liability. The successful high bidder will submit a $5,000 non-refundable deposit within 3 business days of the close of the auction to confirm the date. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 10 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before the date will be secured. Bidding signifies your understanding and acceptance of all terms above.

Looks like it has to be kept hush-hush. So that might preclude selling of tickets but hey you get 200 Blublocker Sunglasses to hand out as door prizes!

Why is this on the Southern Gospel forum? Looking at the announcement, they are pushing anything but Southern Gospel.
