Oh but our resources to go after those states that harbor terrorists are unlimited....our troops have can probably serve another 4 or 5 combat tours (after all, that's what they signed up for)....so what is the problem?

I have a great idea: When they finish an Iraq tour we'll send them to Afghanistan to do a tour there. After that it's back to Iraq. :D Or maybe even to Iran to help out Israel.

Well, I appreciate your confidence in my super powers, but you mistake me for Hancock, LOL. Can you tell us why the US has too few troops available to fight the Taliban? Why the US withdrew key forces from Afghanistan in 2002?

For Iraq of course. Had we not done that we would have had to draft and OMGZ people would think we were at war! They couldn't let that happen.
