Apparently, Mr. Huckabee has signed on with Fox News to be a political commentator for them. Do you think that means he is not in the running for VP anymore?

He never really was. Unfortunately, his tenacity bit him in the butt for this election cycle... it really shouldn't have, but it did. Adam

I like where he stands on the issues but all of those investigations made me quite leery of him as the Presidential or Vice-Presidential nominee. You know the Dems would use that against McCain, whether there was any validity to the investigations or not.

Mike's still got a lot of supporters...and trust me, sour grapes aren't going to dissuede it. As a communicator, he'll be great on FoxNews... and whether he get's the nod for VP this year probably has more to do with a strategic direction than his tenacity -- I like his tenacity! Mike Huckabee's political future is still very bright.

I don't know if you were referring to my post as sour grapes but I can assure you it wasn't sour grapes. I was merely making the observation that his past ethics investigations would be used against him if he were on the ticket with McCain. And they would be.
