That could be taken in more than one context. Which One I believe with all my heart.

You've got to be kidding me! We're about to elect a man as President of the United States and his top advisors are using Winnie the Pooh and Luke Skywalker as inspirations for Foreign Policy and National Security?

This nation won't survive four years of an Obama Presidency.

Before we crawl into the bomb shelter, let's not forget we have had a bankrupt foreign policy for most of the last eight years. Since Obummer stands a good chance of winning, we need to pay attention to those congressional and senate races. If he wins, but has to deal with at least one GOP house, that will limit the "mandate thinking" that made Clinton's first term and W's first term so out of control.

...tut tut, it looks like rain
I like Pooh Bear and all, but not for foreign policy.
If he wants to read something for foreign policy, here's a simple plan;

"Igitur qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum."

I don't think the candidates (even Obama) are really this stupid as much as they're pandering to our own stupidity. Granted, anyone here is probably exempt from my generalization just by the virtue of having enough sense to be here discussing this. And I hate to always be so cinical but it's how I feel. We have to realize we're the exception! Most Americans are dumb as rocks and couldn't/wouldn't follow a coherant argument on the issues (especially foreign policy and national security) - like everything else, election politics is dumbed down for the masses who can really only relate to Pooh Bear and Luke Skywalker.

You could learn alot, from a bear...........

"Those who have no compassion have no wisdom. Knowledge, yes; cleverness, maybe; wisdom, no. A clever mind is not a heart. Knowledge doesn't really care. Wisdom does."

I think my favorite might be the Pooh Bear wisdom! Anyway, whether you like him or not, those are funny!

He's given 42 months.

Anything he does at this point would be better than GWB "bring it on" policy.

At which point, many CWers believe he will be "killed" and stage a false resurrection.
