My dd woke us up this morning to let us know there were ambulances and police over at my neighbor's house. We raced over there to find my 77 year old neighbor on the floor with paramedics doing CPR. That was about 7:30 am. They worked on her until about 8 am then took her to the hospital. My husband drove her husband of over 55 years to the hospital. I asked one of the paramedics what he thought. He said that they never got a response. He said he doesn't think she's going to come back.
She is so full of love. She is a Christian. Please pray for her husband, their five children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Update: They just pronounced her dead.

I know this has to be a shock to all around this dear lady, but I pray that your peace would consume all and your comfort would touch each person involved especially her husband. I thank you for the care and concern that this neighbor showed towards this family, and I pray for an outpouring of your love for this man who has just lost his wife and her family. In Jesus name I pray, amen.

Our Father, I join in we the above prayers asking for Your comfort and peace to be with this family. I also join in thanksgiving for her life that she and her husband led together walking in Your way. Thank You, LORD, for PinkCarnations and her family members for their neighborly love. Both of our pastors and several of our elders are there comforting the family that is there. Four of the five children are coming in from out of state. Please pray for safe travels as they come in from all over the country.

Father, we know that must have been a great celebration when this lady came home. We know that she is forever at peace and surrounded by a love that we here on earth cannot comprehend.
Lord, we pray for those left behind: her husband, children, grandchildren, friends and all those who knew and loved this lady. We ask that you bring each and everyone comfort and peace as they face the coming days, weeks and months. In Jesus name. AMEN

Thank you all for your prayers. I went to the wake tonight. She looked so peaceful. Much nicer than when I saw the paramedics working on her Tuesday. That was very unpleasant and oh so painful to see. I was having a hard time with that being the last image I had of her. I am thankful that I did go and did get a much nicer last image of her.

Father thank you for bringing that comfort to pinkcarnations. I pray only the sweet memories of this lady will remain in pinkcarnations mind from now on. Help her to heal from this great loss. Thank you Father
