First off, most online schools are not accredited. Secondly, most christian colleges are not accredited either. So you are starting out with 2 strikes against you. That said, accreditation is only useful for transfering your credits and degrees to another university. If you are looking for a degree I would start with your denomination and find out what colleges they accept degrees from. See if any of them have an online program. There is a seminary called Illinois Theological that has an online course. They claim to be interdenominational. I looked into them a few years back but our brotherhood of congregations (UMJC, Tikkun) did not like their focus so I did not take any classes. UMJC now has their own school, the Messianic Jewish Theological Institute, which is part of Fuller Theological Seminary.
