today is a new day, feelings are still the same, when my flowers blooms i will no longer feel ashamed, under this vest (body) lies a spirit deep within, longing for peace from sin.......God gave me this life, this body, this world, but God did not give me this sense of failure, I did and so did everyone else. I plant my feet at the cross of Christ hoping he will see me kneeling at his site, praying and hoping for Jesus to arrive knowing he is here right where I reside. Let his Holy spirit cleanse me from pain and help me learn how to trust again. let there be words of joy that come from my mouth and a shout of praise to God and his house (HEAVEN) let his Son rain on me and be my pain, for I can no longer desire to be ashamed. In Jesus name....

well, dawnofthemorning came to mind when I was at church, a woman by the name Aida who at the time was 92 years old, in order for her to remember my name, i used to say to her, just remember Dawn of the morning and she did.......so that is where the name came from

Truth hit me hard! I had never forgiven the people who hurt me.
(And that ment God wouldn't forgive me my sins either.)
I cried out to God and asked Him to help me forgive them.
He Did! In the next instant, I found such peace and love and freedom beyond words!!!!! I have since learned not to live in the past, or in the future. We can only live this day. Today is a gift. Today is what matters!
Today, right now is where I belong, and where God is!

Actually the dawnofthemorning reference may be quite helpful to you right now if you are a reader...
though supposedly children's books, the whole Narnia series is replete with Christian hope and has been a great encouragement to both my wife and myself at different times in our life...
ESPECIALLY relevant to your name is the last book "The Last Battle" which greatly develops that whole hope theme and the Joy of the Lord and the New Dawning etc...
It may just be the encouragement you need right now..

I know how you feel about the feelings of failure. You are right in saying that God did not give you such feelings. It is from satan. But God gives us the way to get over the feelings, by giving it all to God. It may take time but he will help you through this. We will be praying for you.

i get up in the morning, the trouble starts, cannot get my thinking straight right from the start, .......i feel so empty inside, like a peice of my heart does not reside, the thoughts that go through my mind is so hard to define, i wonder why i live a blatant life and blind.... i thought i knew him, i guess not, im still stuck on the same block, when i get to work, all i want to do is play, cannot get it straight that im not here to stay, the forces around me are so strong, who will lend me an arm, .........i lived my life in such suspicion, not trusting anyone who did not listen, i searched for answers that i never should have known, all i did was pick up the phone and talk to people i should never have known, i left myself in silence, seeking no one to confide in, all i did was hide, why oh why oh why, now i have no one, and this is not fun, i am sad and lonely, and in despair, so wrapped up in guilt and shame my life cannot bear, for i have gone too long and did not see the light. I have walked around in ignorance like it was still night, one of these days someone will sound the alarm and i wont have any stories to tell because i did not live a life of charm. I NEED TO GET OUT OF THE BOX AND START LIVING MY LIFE WHILE I STILL CAN, ONLY IF SOMEONE WILL LEND ME A HAND AND BE MY FRIEND

thank you very much so for giving me comfort, but you see I have allowed many deceivers to come into my life while i was broken, and the one deceiver who pranced around confirming that he was a child of god abused me, and said he was going to stick around until Jesus saved me, but, i believe i already was saved, i should have known right from the start that he was no good, actually, i knew he was no good but I have always wanted a christian family and a christian man. but the things this man had done over the past four years was nothing like the image of Jesus Christ, he even told me that God would never forgive me or that he never wanted me, and a bunch of other BS, even that fat that Jesus said i could not cry, cut my hair, and i was told that i had to @@@@@ with this man and that I had to obey, but yet all was forgiven, but not me, ill never be forgiven even though we talked about God and Jesus, but he made Jesus look like a perv and I do not like that at all, i may have fallen but don't eve make Jesus look less than what he is because i do not go for that stuff...........people need to stop stoning Jesus, when they do not know his heart, a heart that was open to many people whom he loves...............

being deceived is one thing that does not mean you are not forgiven. Jesus is our Hope. He told the church to return to their first love so that is what you need to do. See He does allow you to return. You are forgiven of sin, for He payed the price for all our sins. Though I truly dont like to see women cut their hair personally unless it makes it more manageable for them is not reason you cant and as for crying is something that helps often. Pray much and get into a Bible believing church and just start praising the Lord. He has not left you nor forsaken you.
Look at it also this way you were deceived and you realize this now it should not be as easy to deceive you again. As your screen name suggest let each day be a Dawn of the new morning and look to Him for strength each moment. Life's setbacks are temporary we can pray ask for help and get back up with His help.

i know but i have so many people to forgive including myself and i just find it so hard to do, and right now i feel so foolish and guilty because of my past, I did nto know that the christian walk would be this hard, and it is quite embarrassing when you need to confront someone and ask for forgiveness especially when I fell like they will not forgive me, but give me nothing but attitude......and I ask that God would just take this pain away and this burden that is on my shoulder.......

forgiveness is from the heart needed for life. dont worry about attitudes that might not even be there. a friend of mine just got out of court, before going he thought he had lost his job and would have a lot of legal problems ahead it turned out he got a fine and suspended sentence and requirement of anger management. No problem for his job no other problems to take care of. Too often we think that things are harder than they really are.
Sorry though that the walk with the Lord is no cake walk and is a bit of work and hassle yet it is well worth it.

I, too, have just suffered many trials and sorrows. I was not following Gods law, and was living in sin. I fell into the traps of the enemy. I very recently was saved, my eyes were opened and I thank God for his mercy. This is my first time visiting this site and immediately knew that I had to join.
