I've noticed threads devoted to other groups so I figured I'd start one for the Kingdom Heirs. Discuss all things Kingdom Heirs. What's your favorite KH song, album, lineup or whatever.

Test of Time is among the songs that I'd like to see the Kingdom Heirs redo with their current lineup. Along with: I'm Gonna Rise Extraordinary Grace Christian Family That Very Moment Be Of Good Cheer Basics of Life

I really can't decide which lineup is my favorite. I like both Jodi Hosterman and Billy Hodges. I don't think you can go wrong with either one. I will say that Arthur Rice and Jeff Chapman are my favorite on lead and bass.

You can't beat Billy Hodges with a stick. I also like Authur Rice and the old bass Eric Bennett. Some of my favorite songs are Healer of the Heart, Anchor of Hope, I've Been Rescued, and He Lifted Me. There are so many songs I like from them that it would take days. The Kingdom Heirs are my favorite Southern Gospel Music groups. :)

I love the group. Billy is an amazing tenor singer. Arthur is about as good as you can get. I think the new piano player well, him, Kim Collingsworth, and Andrew Ishee are my fave piano players. isn't many songs I don't love by Kingdsom Heirs. I have to say though. True To The Call is my fave song. Diane Wilkinson wrote a gem there. I love it and to hear Steve tell the reason why she wrote it for him to sing is an awesome testimony. if haven't heard was written for Steve's son who answered his call to preach God's word.

I have a question for someone. My oldest brother has been going to see the Kingdom Heirs at Dollywood since the mid to late 80's. He remembers a bass singer for them singing "How Great Thou Art". Do any of you know who he's talking about or could he be mistaken? He said he was kind of short and heavy. { I don't mean any offence,thats just how he describes him}

We're opening for them next Thursday in Rutherfordton, NC. I'll ask if they have a new CD on the way when I see them.

I guess you could say I love those guys. I had asked Steve long ago if they would sing at my 'home-going' and he said yes, but also asked me not to plan on going soon! LOL. So this past November when I got real sick, I knew Steve would read about it or hear about it. So I called him from my hospital bed just to tell him not to go out and buy any new suits for the guys, and not to plan on coming to SC anytime soon, cuz I wasn't going anywhere {even though I really thought I was}! And as a lead singer, they don't come any better than Arthur Rice, IMO. Jeff is Awesome on bass. Billy is good on tenor, but all of you know I'm not going to pretend that Jodi Hosterman isn't, nor wasn't my favorite. And I don't mean that as a put-down to Billy cuz it isn't. I just came to know Jodi so much better, and became very close friends with him. And Steve French is a Great baritone singer. My husband loves to hear Steve sing, so do I. He has a very smooth voice. I just love those guys. I'm having surgery Monday, but I'm praying hard that I'll be able to go see them Thursday night in Rutherfordton.

PraiseHymn Gospel Quartet had the priviledge of opening up for them at their concert in Lake Wales Fl 2 weeks ago. What a wonderful time we all had. On top of an awesome concert, the guys were so encouraging to us as a group. That is one of those nights we will never forget! Joe Loaring PraiseHymn Gospel Quartet www.myspace.com/praisehymn123
