I've seen the new The Producers. Some people didn't like it but I did like it. The music's funny and there were more music than the Gene Wilder version. Will's musical number is actually funny and he did have a minor role. And as far as his movies...yes he had a lot of stupid movies but I did like Elf and Stranger than Fiction and I'm ashame to say I did like Anchorman.

There really wasn't anything too bad in that movie, Will's part is pretty funny. I think you either love it or hate it. Like Rent. I hated the musical Rent.

For the most part, I like Will Ferrell. Whenever he isn't crude, obnoxious, or blasphemous in his act. Which saves about 5% of his movies.

I do like some of his SNL skits though. Craig the cheerleader, George dubya, his Alex Trebek and my favorite-- the cowbell player as Gene with Christopher Walken.

Ferrell has good comedic talent but for minor characters. Staring roles forget it. And I fear his next role(currently in production) will destroy a childhood fave. A role he gave tribute to in Jay and Silent Bob Strike back (not a good movie for christians) as Wildlife Marshal Willandholly. Thats right He is in the film version of Land of the Lost, I hope he gets steped on by a dinosaur or eaten by a sleastack

I agree with brothertodd Will Ferrell is mainly good in his minor roles. But the movie Talladega Nights was RIDICULOUSLY FUNNY. I say that was his best movie. 5 out of 5 stars! As far as Adam Sandler he is an awesome funny actor and great at producing movies. He's one of the best in the movie business of all time; acting, writing, and producing. His latest movie Don't mess with the Zohan was okay. It has a good meaning/moral to it but it's a little too feminine. And it was surprisingly not funny, the only time I laughed were the Rob Schneider taxi scenes.

I think Will Ferrell is the most annoying actor right now. This is only because Tom Green no longer makes movies.

I thought he was cute in Elf. That's about the only thing so far I've enjoyed of his. I've seen bits of Anchorman, and it was kinda funny, but have not seen the entire film. Also, though, he and Jack Black performed a really cute and hilarious song (had no vulgarity) at the Oscars a few years ago about why the music plays if a winner's speech goes on too long ("you're boring..." hee!) Similar with Adam Sandler, I liked him in Happy Gilmore, but not much else.

I liked him in Stranger than Fiction. It wasn't one of his usual "funny man" roles. Most of his other movies that I've seen, I haven't liked.

Loved Stranger than Fiction and Elf, like others. Could do without him otherwise.

I happen to like pretty much everything Will Farrel does. I own several of his movies (Old School and Anchorman are the favorites).

I like Will Ferrell too. Especially Night at the Roxbury, Talladega Nights, The Producers (imo his role was the entire movie), Blades of Glory (finally someone makes fun of figure skating), and Anchorman. Even though I thought his basketball movie could have been alot better, but it was mainly just a bad script.
