IonMoon -> RE: What was your hardest college class? (7/11/2006 10:25:36 PM)

Mine was Anthropology which I didn't even need. I took it because I was interested. It was online and the class required a ton more writing than any other intro class I had taken (and it was NOT supposed to be a writing intensive course). It wasn't so much that the class was difficult, really, but that I underestimated the lessons, then waited until the last minute to complete the assignments. And there were topics I hadn't expected. I didn't know we were going to get into detailed study of evolution and primate anatomy for example... I was also working full-time and had a lot of family stuff going on (and 4 other classes that I did need). I got a B, but I don't think I ever had a class that I felt like I was always behind in. It was one of only two B's at that school, and the other one the class was easy and I felt I did A work ... it was a matter of the prof being hard on me (because she knew I could have done better, even though I did do better than the other students) and choosing not to redo a paper because of the other stuff going on (that course was the same semester). I actually probably had classes that were harder (required more work, had more complex material--like Abnormal Psych), but I enjoyed them so they didn't feel difficult. Tara P
