What are you all up to this weekend?

Western Australia has a long weekend this weekend. I think it's supposed to be our Queen's Birthday weekend.

I went to see Evan Almighty today. I'm hopeful of getting to church in the morning. (I'm on antibiotics to try and get rid of the flu that I have). There was a team from our church that went to Africa and arrived back this morning. I want to hear about their trip. Monday is supposed to be our friendship group. We'll see if I get there, or even to church.

Trish, I am coming out, with my hands up too!. I will accept your forgiveness in advance for the keyboard is hard to operate up there
Nothing much happening. just dropped in to be around as it were. Been getting a lot of slides from the Senior Citizens lately and scanning them into the computer. Then cleaning them up - a slow and laborious job I tell you. I them turn them into a slide show that they can watch on telly via a DVD player
which everyone has cottoned onto by now. Not like the old VCR - I still get asked out occasionally to install one for the older folks.

Anyhow that's me lately in my busyness

Uh, no to the tax. I kept planning on getting around to it, but then forgot. In terms of Centrelink benefits, I don't have to lodge a form, but I've got a few shares I was going to look into seeing if I needed to pay anything on. John was telling me that I didn't, but I wanted to look for myself, and now it's too late. I'd better hurry up and do something about it, just in case.

Yeah, Trish, long time no visit....so I thought I'd make up with a big batch of hot scones and a thermos of milo

I been good (mostly ). Have a new 'boy' to busy my time with ...so rather exciting

Taxes??? Cripes not done those in years, they changed the system here for normal wage earners,where we don't actually need to submit a return....PTL!!!

Hey what y'all doin for Guy Fawkes...now theres'something our American counterparts will have no idea about They've restricted the selling of fireworks here to only 4 days before Guy Fawkes, which started midnite last night!!! Oh to be a kid again

I wish!!!

Hot and steamy here today. I'm supposed to be working in a little over an hour but have a child home sick from school. I'm debating calling my client and cancelling as I'm not feeling 100% either.

Status: offline 		We're doing well, you can bet medication hasn't been forgotten since.

Dh left for Boggabri this morning. He won't be home until Thursday or Friday. They're hoping Thursday but as they're having to work around a builder and havent' yet seen the site (just going on what the salesman has told them) it may take longer than they're anticipating.

Status: offline 		I didn't get to church on Sunday, but they did observe it at our church, I hear. One of our friends from church is in the SAS, so he stood in uniform on the stage and did something, I think.
