Our VBS theme is "Jerusalem Marketplace"...it is a week in a Jerusalem marketplace during which Jesus has come through. Some people believe him to be the Messiah, others do not. I am a believer who got to see him. My "husband" is not quite believing yet...

OK, folks, you remember how I said I was going to upload those pictures? I FINALLY was able to get those photos uploaded. I decided only to upload a few.
The photos aren't perfect, but meh, beggars can't be choosers.

I can't really see the pictures very well as my computer is in safe mode and needs to get fixed, but from what I can make out, you've got a cute pooch. Is that a cat and a bird I can make out in those pictures too?

Still, it has been unusually cold here. Or maybe it's just that we've had relatively mild winters the last few years with the exception of a few weeks.
The cat is ours. The dog, too, is ours (I'll have to grab a better shot of the other two animals).
The birds however are wild. They fly up from time to time and rest on our roofs.
I was glad to have gotten that bird in that pose. Honestly, a second later, and I would have missed that.
The dog's name is Pepsi (the same dog as in my avatar to the left). The cat's name is Foxie.

They're cockatoos, and are native.
I want to grab a photo of a kookaburra (also found around here) at some point also. I know they're around because I hear their distinct cackling laughter from time to time.
I haven't mentioned it in a while but I live not far from one of the national parks surrounding Sydney. For those that don't know, Sydney's almost surrounded by them, and they're all stunningly beautiful.
