Interesting first post.. welcome to the boards.
I was hoping for a link not from Benny Hinn's website itself, do you have one? And do you know if Hinn has released the full financial records for even just the past two years? It is odd that he has always turned down being a member of the ECFA, etc.
And to boot - the financial issue is not even a top concern when it comes to Benny Hinn. All the financial transparency in the world does nothing to detract from Benny Hinn being a documented false teacher and a false prophet.

I agree. There'd be no need for this thread if Mr. Hinn was as meticulous about the Bible and truth as he seems about finances.

I believe God uses Benny Hinn greatly.

This is what I told myself about Benny Hinn. I said, "Somebody Big is doing all those healings. Some very big and powerful spiritual force."
I recorded the crusades and watched them, one after another, muted, and saw that there is a lot of power being put forth that does not come from a man.
Then, I listened to a few testimonies from those who had been healed, and it was "Jesus this, and Jesus that, and Thank You Jesus." over and over.
So, I told myself, "I am not touching that man nor his ministry with my voice" I appreciate very much the faith that people demonstrate in seeking the Lord and even more, I appreciated how the Lord shows up where faith is found.

So it doesn't matter that Benny is a False Prophet? Nor that he is a false teacher?
Sincere question - do you believe the Bible to be God's absolute Word for all of mankind? Yes or no?

I must admit, I have seen Benny Hinn on TV, never in person and from what I have seen, he gives all the glory to the Lord.....now keep in mind, "WHAT I HAVE SEEN." There maybe a lot that I havent seen. But the Bible clearly states, that one of the nine gifts given, as the Holy Spirit determines is: miraculous powers....healing. So, how can anyone call him a false prophet? If the Bible did not state this, then I may very well be in agreement with those calling him a false prophet, but the Word of God tells us different.

I still believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, rasie my hands in worship, but now understand that God is a God of order, "self control" is one of the fruits of the spirit and Satan is the father of confusion and chaos.

Obey God's Word and get equipped. And part of doing that would be to know what and whom you're defending and attributing God to. Read this thread and see the truth, the evidence that Benny Hinn is a false prophet and a false teacher.
These assertions have absolutely nothing to do with miracles and or healings. It has everything to do with Hinn's teachings, prophecies and claims being tested in light of Scripture.

Umm Sonrise, no....Im far from being embarrassed, its a simple question that I have. Im not defending Benny Hinn nor am I accusing him by calling him a false teacher, its a simple question. I just find it hard that many can label this man, without truly knowing. Btw, thats a statement, :)
Oh, and btw, my question still wasnt answered. What gives anyone the right to call this man a false teacher?

Again, it's best if you just run back through the thread. There are over 30 pages of evidence, from his failed "Jesus will appear in person" prophecy, to his trying to blow people's heads off with a "holy spirit machine gun."
As to your first post, healings do not happen because of Benny Hinn.
Now, I believe many healings at Benny Hinn crusades are faked and staged. I have seen some documentary that prescribes to this (the links are probably in here somewhere too).
But I also believe that there are genuine healings that take place as well. These are done because people are seeking after God, not because of what Benny Hinn has said or done.
God works in spite of false teachers, not because of them.

Well first of all Ben, I NEVER said that Benny Hinn was the one doing the healing. I believe that if there is any healing, its God, not Hinn. But thats my whole point, the times that I have seen this man, I have only seen him giving all the glory to the Lord and not himself. I havent read all the post, maybe there is alot that I havent seen. Im just not the type of person to label anyone.
