* On another side note, about the Kingsmen concert i attended, OK, i am 43 yrs. old. But as i looked around the room, i believe i was , by far, the youngest one at that whole concert. I would say the average age was around 70. That kinda worries me, where's the young people?.... although it was a Thursday nite, so maybe the youngens had to stay in and do homework, etc.

The sing was GREAT, AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The new bass player, Grant Barker, did a great job tonight on the bass and didnt miss a note. He has a great personality and really friendly. I got to take a picture with Ray Dean Reese and I talked to Phillip, Tony, Jeremy, Nick, Grant, Brandon, and Ray. They mixed in some new songs with the old songs. They are sold out of the Good Good God cd and Ray told me they cant keep them in stock. What a great concert!!!!!!!!!!! An excellent job goes out to the Kingsmen.

Yes, that is a great song. Ernie Phillips is one of my all-time favorites, and that is (IMO) the best song he did. It's a superb tenor feature, as well, in that it lets the tenor go super-high without needing to strain at any given point.

I also like Child, Child sung by Wayne Maynard off of that same album. I also like Love Lifted Me, when Ernie Phillips gets really high on the ending. I dont think I have ever heard anyone get that high before.

The only other time I can recall someone hitting that note was when Allison Durham Speer hit it on the ending of Because He Lives on the Gaither Series (same note, same octave!)

Wow!!!!! Jeremy Peace did an exceptional job saturday night. In my opinion, Jeremy and Phillip sound better in person. At the end of the concert, Nick Succi and Tony Peace were playing the piano together and it sounded great.

1. Live at the University of Alabama (maybe the best live Southern Gospel album ever) 2. Live...Naturally 3. 4. 5. Jubilation 6. The Old Time Way 7. Just as the Sun Went Down 8. Better in Person (I've heard good things about Big and Live, and the one that had "Meet Me at the Table," so I'm saving those slots empty till I hear them.)

I'm 57, and for the most part I'm in the majority age group. HOWEVER....... Here in Georgia (especially at Churches) I've been VERY pleasantly surprized lately at the number of teens and twenty somethings at concerts. And I've noticed something else.....they are NOT there because their parents made them go....they are there because they LOVE Southern Gospel..... And that just blesses my heart.

I normally do not disagree with you but on this one I must. Chattanooga Live had the best vocal talent the Kingsmen have ever put on any stage. It is the album that really made me a Kingsmen fan. Thus I think it is the best one they ever did.

I love Southern Gospel music, especially the old Quartet style of music. I also like the Kingsmen. My favorite group quote:

Wow, for me to list my 10 favorite Kingsmen albums of all time, is a very difficult task! Considering we are talking about many, many, many projects, way over 100. I would have to sit down and think long ad hard about this one, but i believe their newest project would be in the top 10, and i also know that "Live.... Naturally", would also be in the top 10. Josh and Daniel, i like both of your picks, but i may or may not disagree , not sure! LOL.

Another one of the pics that turned out really great was the Kingsmen doing an ending to a song. I am going to print it out and let the guys sign it with a silver or gold sharpie and frame it. I will also print the picture of me and Ray and let him sign it.
