Just got in from a MTT concert and boy did they do a great job!!! Mark is still hurting from the loss of his good friend this week and he shared a bit on that. Dustin and Eric picked a song from the new project while he was talking, it featured him and bless his heart - he ain't learnt it good yet! This church was one of the first when MTT started and you can tell the love the group! If you see them in concert any time soon, ask Mark what the lady who kissed the pig told him (no I wasn't the lady, they had contest at the church and the person whose 'jar' had the most money had to kiss a pig!).

A Baptist church, it's not some wierd new doctrine! LOL, they had several folks 'nominated' and if you wanted them to kiss a pig, you gave for them. One person gave $100 for this lady besides all the other $$ given. I told them if they had nominated Dustin, Eric or Mark they could have probably raised 3 times more $$. I think I gave them something to think about for next time!

Good news about LaResa's step-dad. Received the below info this morning from Mark and wanted to pass it on to you: We want to let you, our prayer partners, know that Larry Sparks, LaResa's stepdad, is now off the ventilator, moving the paralyzed side already, and is talking and knows a lot about what is going on. This is an answer to prayer as he was still in a coma three days ago. Mark, LaResa and the whole family would like to thank all of those who have prayed, sent cards and emails in the last two weeks.

Their new record is good and shows what they can do fairly well. But one or two more uptempo tunes, especially one toward the end, would have made it even better.

Our sympathy goes out to Mark Trammell's wife in the passing of her step-father this evening. Received the below email from Mark tonight: We are writing to inform you that LaResa's step-father, Larry Sparks passed away this evening. Larry went peacefully into eternity around 6:30 PM. The family is doing well and they are rejoicing that he didn't suffer for a long period of time. We would like to thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time. In His Service, Mark Trammell

I live a couple of miles from the Trammell's. I was on my way home earlier and passed MTT's bus as they were heading out for the weekend. Let's all pray they have a safe and blessed weekend.

They are headed out west - pray that it is fixed and working good in this heat!

I heard that they were shopping for a newer bus this week. They deserve the best, since they do their best to sing about God's best... Jesus Christ... Wonder if it'll be a MCI or Prevost? Hmmm.... That just inspired me to start a new poll...

The concert was fantastic! Noah saved seats at the front, and we all enjoyed it immensely! The harmony was great as well as the spirit. You can tell they were there to minister, it was awesome! I'll let Noah give you the run down on what they sang. We all had a blast! My daughter even sang along during "There's Just Something About That Name". She was singing "Jesus, Jesus..."! Steve Hurst even commented after the concert that he could hear her singing along! Thanks MMT for such a wonderful evening!
