Lord,
A few simple words you organized say so much: "Give us this day our daily bread." You taught us these simple words that encompass the entire universe. You know each one of us and our needs. You, the one who placed each atom in its place from the dawn of time, you know how to supply our daily bread, at what time, in the right quantity, for the right occasion. Indeed, without you and the unseen work that you do, many of us won't have any daily bread, and yet we do. Wherever there is need today, be that need for bread, or anything else of benefit, please open your grain stores and let the good grains flow to dissolve the need. We live by more than bread alone: please feed mind and spirit as well, that we may be sated in all respects. Hear us for you love's sake, Amen!
