OMgoodness. Now I have to go to work with a straight face. If I go into work grinning from this conversation, how in the world will I be able to explain it and still sound sane?!?
Why do you want to sound sane? If you sound insane, whenever you do something crazy, people will just shake their heads and say nothing.

what dude said...

It is actually *nice* when word gets back to you that so and so said that you did such and such and it just doesn't make sense to ... and the person listening to the tattling/complaining says "It's ezri--- does it HAVE to make sense?"

I like being the wild card in any given situation.

hehehehe

yeah, she will do it if she said she'd do it BUT you need to know that the amount and shade of PINK will vary depending upon her mood at the time. OH and if she brings her own music... just have ear plugs okay...

If you're still sane, then you're posting on the wrong site.

Noooo! If she's still sane, she's right where she needs to be! And we have a LOT of work to do!

Between this thread and the pizza eatters thread, I just can't win. What a fun way to admit defeat.

Iguess no one is sinning by buying groceries in blue shirts anymore. Is that because you blew your yearly paycheck buying a purse?

Well.... I did covet the Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III and some uber sweet L-glass last night at the Lighting Seminar in town.

BUT I did not have the 5000.00-6000.00 it would'a cost to buy the minimum I wanted ya know so being who I am and not liking to do anything half way I skipped the entire expenditure and hit the hotel gift shop/snack vendor and bought a dr Pepper and a Snickers bar.

I did do the figures in my head... If we took my entire "Wal-Mart" budgeted monies for 5 months I'd have enough cash to buy the camera and lenses I'd like to have. BUT then we'd all stink to high heaven and starve... and I mean ALL of us... the cats and the dog too, and I just couldn't bear to see the dog like that.

~ezri

PS I was wearing a red shirt... perhaps thats where I went wrong.

The poor dog... you are right. When I sin and win the lottery (drat, have to buy a ticket first) Perhaps we can go camera shopping together. But I'll use my good inexpensive purse, wear a green shirt (that is the fad, anything green is good, right?) and maybe we can sin buy eatting some pizza for lunch. We'll bring the kids. Make a day of it. The dogs stay home, though.

Hmmm, have to get around to buying the winning ticket first.

I'm still sinning, I'm just becoming callous to the sin and not feeling the need to confess... as often... I guess I've become desensitized to grocery stores and blue shirts...

I'll do the same- we will make a pact (is that a sin too?) only, I'd rather take the dog than the 6 kids when we go shopping if you don't mind. he is old and all so he may not be around when this event takes place so it may be a non-issue.

it is a deal then... camera shopping if God drops the blessed winning ticket in one of our laps.

And my first photo will be of the pastor on the floor from fainting after he sees our tithe check.

LOL! My first photo would be my pastor handing the tithe check back saying it was sinful money cause it was a tax on the poor... You know- he could not take money that had caused others to sin. I am sure that'd cover more than the tax on the poor and all and probably go right on into the coveting and selfish purchase of expensive toys when that $2.00 could have bought rice for a family in Asia for a month.

The snarkieness 101 thread is just to tempting to indulge in. The shorthaired women's thread is just to, well, let's just say I am a long haired woman with a short haired brain. The Outrageous thread leaves me confused and the pizza thread leaves me hungry. Noone is posting on the Christmas thread because they are either working or enjoying the day with family. All good stuff. So before I leave the threads, I will let y'all know, I was in Sam's Club the other day and they tempted me to buy bacon, and wrap it around asparagus and mozzerella cheeze and grill it. Evil Sam's Club... yet we did yield to temptation. Hint: watch out because when the bacon grease drips down it set the grill aflame like "you know where".

Anyone who mentions Wal Mart is sinning.

so let me see if i have this right- if i say "wal*mart" then I am saying "Sin"?

wal*mart= sin

"For the wages of wal*mart is death"

Mt 18:6-7 - But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to [go to] wal*mart, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to [go to] wal*mart! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!

John 8:34 - Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone who [goes to] wal*mart,is a slave to wal*mart.

Romans 3:9 -What shall we conclude then? Are we any better? Not at all! We have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under [the discounted prices of temptation of] wal*mart.

Romans 3:20 - Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of wal*mart.

Romans 4:8 - Blessed is the man whose [various trips to] wal*mart the Lord will never count against him."

It works in most but not all, so having tested this theory- I must find it unfounded.

**All bible verses are from the wal*mart international version.

I don't like to swear, being a good christian woman and all. Therefore I never say "wal----" but say "wally's world". So more befitting a woman of faith, dontcha think?

That is slightly better, but I think that ezri's post was full of TOS violations.

if you do, please get the little red ones and toss them by the back wall of my house. The accent stones back there could use a little freshening up.
