when I was a little girl I went there with my parents once a year. there's so much to do... you can make pottery, ride rides, there's a train... too much to list. You should definately take your daughter! (If you like old timey stuff - simpler times and all - you'll enjoy it that much more)

Hi All,
I'm Laura, 40 year old mother of 2 teenage girls. We are all active in our church in our own way. I'm in a circle and in 3 studies this fall, they are in youth group and our youth rock band. Plus school activities. I've been Divorced for about 6 years now and am pretty good at being on my own. Mostly. Except like when something needs done on a ladder, with a power saw or there's a huge spider somewhere. THen I get a little bitter 
I love to read and always have a couple of books going. From literature to just fun junk and everything in between. I like to play Tennis and go to auctions and flea markets. I like coffee shops and movies. I'm a junkie for a good story I guess.
I work for a livestock feed mill although when I started I had no ag background. Living in Iowa though I guess it was only a matter of time.LOL
My faith is growing and I love to talk about it. I love to be around others and hear what they have to say what they are doing. I can't wait to get to know you all too!
