If there were children involved, I would hate for either the child or the in-laws to miss out on a relationship with their grandkids, so deal. My brother still has a good relationship w/ his ex-s family. It's hard on him but he does it mostly for his son.

No Deal.

I'd gracefully bow out, and pray for their reconcilliation.

Deal! Sometimes I eat pancakes for dinner.... but I just can't bring myself to eat eggs for dinner.

I actually did do this bowing out gracefully and praying for their reconcilication thing once. They reconciled. I was hailed a hero at the time. Then they divorced a few years later.

Deal. I used to work with someone whom the CIA was considering hiring. He was a most interesting individual.
(And quite entertaining. LOL )

Deal. As long as I don't have to ride all the rides with them. And as long as they are financially sensible about it.. And as long as I can make fun of the French at Euro Disney

DOND: They are clumsy and are constantly knocking things over and tripping over things.

Things are just things. That's why we put breakable thigs in closed cabinets. So Deal. UNLESS they are injuring themselves all teh time. I've not the strength to deal with that yet.

Deal. I have an incredible relationship with my former in-laws (but I have a different situation than most anyway)

Deal. Cereal is a good dinner on occasion. Quick and easy. But I would get bored of it too often.

I guess that would be a deal as long as she was gainfully employed on odd numbered days also.

I've known a few people who worked for the company. But I can't tell you any details. It's not that they would kill me, it's that I don't remember any!

As long as the moisturizer is pleasant smelling Deal. If it smells good enough I may just rub it on for her!

Deal. M was that way.

I'm writing this one down for future use. Sounds fun.

Deal. I'd respect that.

quote:

Deal or No Deal: Eats cereal often for dinner and prefers it to dinner foods.

Deal. Breakfast for dinner is fun. I'd want to eat "regular" dinners more often, though.

quote:

DOND: Has delsuions of working undercover for the CIA... only on even numbered days.

Deal. That could be fun.

quote:

DOND: Is obsessed about keeping their feet soft and must rub moisturizer into their heels as part of their bedtime routine. Every night. Without fail.

Deal. That's me (minus the obsession). Nothing wrong with wanting soft feet.

quote:

DOND: Insists they are taller than they actually are.

Deal. That's almost everyone in my family (except me ).

quote:

DOND: They love getting dirty. Whether at play or in the garden or at work.

Deal. Lots of fun!

quote:

DOND: They love cuckoo clocks and have a nice little collection.

Deal. I love clocks, including cuckoos. I wouldn't want them wound up, though.

quote:

DOND: Has a large Aviary of Exotic birds as a hobby.

Deal as long as they're kept in a place separate from the house.

quote:

DOND: HAS to watch some TV program religiously...whether it's cartoons or NCIS.

No deal if he made me watch religiously or if he had a show for every night of the week. Deal if it was only a show or two and I could do something else while he watches.

quote:

DOND: Has a very negative friend that they spend alot of time with trying to minister to them.

No deal. I understand and respect the ministering part, but iron sharpens iron. "A lot of time" is too much.

quote:

DOND: Hates houseplants.

Deal as long as I can still keep them in the house.

DOND: They'll drop just about everything if a family member's in need.

Hidden from me? No deal. Hidden in general? It depends. If it would serve others to know about it, no deal. If it would prevent gossip, slander, and such, then deal.

DOND: They speak in funny voices when they talk to their pets.

Yep. That'd be why.

DOND: They speak in funny voices when they talk to their pets.

Depends on the pet. If it's a reptile kinda pet, no deal. If it's a dog or cat, probably... especially if the pet talks back.

DOND: Has a cat that says their name. Seriously, my adopted cat can say my name. I have witnesses. Really, I do. I'm not makin' this stuff up.

No deal...I can't stand cats. Dogs...ok.

DOND: They rhymed everything they said...constantly.

Deal. Some friends of mine have a collection of clocks like that. Discussions that span the hour have a built in intermission for all the clocks to chime.

quote:

DOND: Has a large Aviary of Exotic birds as a hobby.

Deal but they'd have to be outside the house. (perhaps a side building to the garage or something like that. I love birds but too many in the house is somewhat creepy. On the other hand (you have different fingers!) some of the ursing homes here have the big cages of finches ("beep beep birds" we call them) and they are facinating to watch. I guess I prefer small birds to big birds.

We had birds once. Two of them. The cats said they were tasty.

quote:

DOND: HAS to watch some TV program religiously...whether it's cartoons or NCIS.

Depends on the program. I don't even watch religious programs religiously. In fact I turned the downstairs TV on yesterday for teh first time in at least a week. (Turned it off five minutes later. 500 channels and nothing good to watch!)

quote:

DOND: Has a very negative friend that they spend alot of time with trying to minister to them.

No deal. Shema said that Iron sharpens Iron and that is true. But rust also causes rust. When we were younger our mothers told us "If you hang around with him you'll end up just like him" I've found that mom was right.

quote:

DOND: Hates houseplants.

I've got a few (oddly enough they are all from funerals) but I'm not a big house plant fan. Outdoor plants however are a different story. So I'd say deal.

quote:

DOND: They'll drop just about everything if a family member's in need.

Deal. That's the way it's supposed to be. In fact, if they didn't (depending of course on circumstance and history of that family member) I'd have doubts about them.

quote:

DOND: Has a somewhat controversial medical condition they keep hidden, because they know people won't understand.

Kind of depends. Is it contagious. Is it fatal. Could it be. There are some that I've not the strength to deal with.

quote:

DOND: They speak in funny voices when they talk to their pets.

Deal. I always talked to the cats in my Peter Lorre voice (OK maybe it was Bela Lugosi).

quote:

DOND: Has a cat that says their name. Seriously, my adopted cat can say my name. I have witnesses. Really, I do. I'm not makin' this stuff up.

Great. The last thing I need is a talking cat. "Hey buddy. Open the tuna already I'm starving here!"

But if she loved the cat. Deal

quote:

DOND: They rhymed everything they said...constantly.

Deal if it's real.

Deal or no deal: They are huge "princess bride" fans and pepper their talk with quotes from the movie
