Ray, speaking of pianos we have one that needs tuning desperately do you know about how much that can cost? We have no idea.

If I recall correctly, it was somewhere around $125 for a basic tuning. Plus any repairs than need to be done are extra. Does that sound about right? 
I would recommend that if you don't already know a piano tuner, then ask your church (assuming they have a piano) who they use.

Also, if your piano is seriously out of tune, then the piano tuner will have to tune it about three times...perhaps once a month...before it will hold. It may fare better than that, but that's what would be recommended.

Ray, that's about what I've heard, too.....$125 - $140. And yes, the church is a great place to find a referral for a tuner.

Tooshy has been reminding me that tickets go on sale this morning for an Alan Jackson/Trace Adkins concert November 8th. I was on the ticketmaster website just when they went on sale. We got good seats...not on the floor, but not too high up either, just what she asked for.

Cool Ray, sounds like it will be a lot of fun! Now, I haven't been to a "real" concert in ages. I am not really sure who I would want to see at all. Maybe my hero "Weird Al" Yankovic, although I do have a feeling that there would be a disproportionate number of kids at the concert though.
