Believe it or not, we used to have a mulberry tree in the back near the deck. The birds made sure that it was a purple deck.

You have given me inspiration to get a sandblaster!

If all it needed was to float... that would be much easier.

Lord help, Ray, you're starting to sound like Denny.....and HE ain't resting either!

With him, I might get away with putting a tranquilizer in his Texas Pete.....wonder what I'd have to tamper with to get YOU to rest, huh?

Hmmm

Paul McCartney tickets!!! Are you going to see Macca? You lucky dog you

Yep, I lost count over the years, but this will be the fourth of fifth time we've seen him. But the tickets cost more than twice as much this time. It's really getting ridiculous.

quote:

Ain't it the truth about home projects. They are never ending .

I didn't know you relied on sheet music. I can sight read chord charts but I'm been a improviser from the word go, so I wing it most of the time. Used to come in handy working in the clubs with a jazz trio, and someone wants to sit in and sing something I don't know. I LEARNED how to listen and think on the fly. But those skills don't translate to the worship service

Glad to hear you're doing well........

I can get by with just words and chords. In fact that is commonly what I'd prefer. It's too much to sight-read words, chords and bass line vocals all at the same time, so I just wing the vocals anyway. It's not too important to stay on the written bass-line when your singing contra-bass. I just harmonize on something, stick with the chord root or even sing the melody down there.

Yo, RAYMUNDO!

Was thinking about you at practice on Sunday......you would have had fun, I bet!

We're working up some new stuff, and I now have a folder I DON'T have to share! I even brought my tambourine home to work on a couple of songs with the practice CD!

NO blonde jokes here, bitte.......

But, I WAS mistaken for a local, several times......does that count?

Hey Ray! Join the club! There's a few people around CW who want to meet me. One of these days we'll all get to meet.

Bist du ein Deutcher blonder? Are you swearing at us? Or to use US terminology, cussing?

Wouldn't that be against the TOS?

So did I read in here that you want Ray to move closer to you?

How about Tahitit? I'd even go for that!

Probably so.......where do you think Brian PARKED the suckers? It's kind of hard to find him to ask him, with that shift work he's on.
