I don't like beta fish because they are loners....you have to keep them isolated or they'll fight with other fish. I want a big tank with a bunch of different fish, pretty, colorful, interesting fish, so we can watch them like a tv set. Ronnie will get to clean it out, since he is really good at it. We had a tank when we were first married, but we sold it. I'd like a cockatiel too, but they're a pain to clean up after. All those feathers and bird food all over the place. I'm not that diligent a cleaner.

ORIGINAL: denbert - Put the cockatiel and two beta fish in the same tank and let em have it out. ROFLOL!!! That should do the trick! We went to Cracker Barrell for dinner again tonight. And the kids got two more WebKinz pets (one each). Evelyn got the pink pony (she is naming her "Sue" after her aunt), and Ben got another frog (he is naming "Denny" after his uncle - sorry Denny, not after you). I'm still sticking with my lonely little pug for now. I may get my Panda bear next month.

Pet rocks are more my speed. No barfing, litter box, pet hair, yard duty, or obnoxious smells!

Are you getting any angel fish? We once had a cockatiel. It copied the car burglar alarms and also a house alarm from a previous place where it had lived! It was a fun bird.

We taught our last cockatiel to whistle the Andy Griffith them and to say "where's Ronnie?". We taught it a lot of other things too, it was a fun bird.

I just hope you weren't standing-in at the issue. That would have shown you really didn't know what you were doing. Besides, you shoulda called for a strike, or at least a walk out.

I got my hair cut today. It was really, really bothering me.....it looked ratty and dry. I'm trying to let it grow out, so I got her to cut it closer to one length. It's pretty short, but it looks nice, and it feels great. I think I've decided not to go in to work tonight. I need some R-n-R time and I can always work some hours tomorrow if I want to. I got one of those tv/weatherband/am-fm radios from radio shack so I can listen to the Spurs games at work (Spurs ROCK btw!!!). It picks up a couple tv stations pretty well. PBS and ABC come in the best. I discovered last night that Americas Funniest Home Videos is not quite as funny when you are just listening to it. LOL! Go figure.
