Glad you're getting some R&R Beckey. I don't know how you keep up the schedule you are keeping up.

Doesn't it feel great when you get hair done and you're happy with it and it's Spring? Mine is going flat again so probably won't be long before a perm again because I CAN'T STAND (ACCCCCCCCCK!!!) when my bangs fall and are sweaty and ICK, ICK, ICK!!

Okay, that felt good getting that off my chest. LOL!

Love your poster avatar. I went to the site and looked through the items they have in the Festival store. I LOVE the colors on the shirts.
Just pretty to look at ya know?

I know! I bought one of the t-hirts in bright yellow with the poster design. It is very pretty. I haven't been able to participate in any of the fiesta activities, but I always try to get a shirt.

Just got back from shopping......I bought one of these. I can't wait to play with it. It was on sale.....and I've wanted one for awhile....I'm such a sucker.

I saw it on tv....but it was very late at night or early in the morning....something like that.

I was looking for the cheaper (much)...hand crank version by the same company that is aimed more at kids....I think it's called a cuttlebug - but they didn't have any of those.

Awww come on Kerr! Hey! You could get it for her as a gift!! Yeah, that would be good! Think how appreciative she would be.

Beckey, I saw that advertised awhile back too. If you get one let me know if it's all it's advertised to be. In the meantime I guess my exacto knife will have to do for me.

The first Christmas after we met, I thoughtfully purchased a glue gun for Cindy. She returned it to Target.

Now she can't live without a glue gun (or me).

Maybe I willl get it for her. She teaches second grade.

I DID buy one! I haven't taken it out of the box yet, though. Maybe tomorrow. I also bought a couple pkgs of paper to use while playing with it.

Cindy would love it, Kerr. Maybe even more than her glue gun, but I doubt more than you.

pssssst - I found it at Walmart.

Been working......A LOT.....did 19 hrs of OT this past week. PCD (projected completion date) is coming up this week, so it's crunch time. Even after PCD, we won't be done by a longshot. I'll probably be actively employed until at least the end of June if not longer.

There was a horrible fire at one of our colleges here last night. I've driven by it several times (not during the fire) I always thought it looked like a castle.

Here is a slideshow from the fire. I think it was four alarms....there were over 37 fire trucks out there. How sad. The building was built in the 1800's.

This is what it looked like before the fire.

It does look like a castle.

I think it's sad too; I don't like to loose old buildings.

With you doing so much OT, Beckey, I won't ask how you're going with your new toy.

I only have time to eat and sleep and work right now. We heard tonight that OT will be going on till well into June. Yay . I'm not working this weekend, though. I have plans for mother's day. And next weekend is Ronnie's company picnic - so I won't be working that day either (they serve grilled steak at his co. picnic.....one of the benefits of working for a meat company - so I don't want to miss my steak).

Well, I'm glad you're getting SOME time off. Don't want you getting too exhausted.

How are the kidlings?

The kids are great.....thanks for asking (((((((((Trish)))))))))

I discovered last week how woefully out of shape I am when I pulled a muscle tieing my shoe! It still hurts.

Oh, and my co-workers found it quite entertaining when I discovered there was a dryer sheet in the leg of my jeans and I had to get creative to get it down toward the ankle so I could pull it out.

Y'all just have no idea how much fun I am IRL.

Prayer request......for those of you who know 'landabee'. She is in the thick of the Florida fires. One of her boys' school burned down, and last I heard, the fire was about 5 miles from their home. Please keep them in prayer. Scary stuff. There are numerous fires burning and it has been said that they were intentionally set.
