Thank heaven for little girls. I have 6 grand children. the oldest, Hannah Grace is 5 and the only girl!!

Hmm where to start. First Santa and Robert Great to hear your news about wife/mother respectivly. Dee grats on the grandchild coming. Children are wonderful I Praise Him for that Gift.
On to my report. Life has been real hectic around here with the job search and the home search and everything in between.
Galesburg got hit by a massive storm last week that caused more damage than I have ever seen in this town. No one can recall this much damage. This is a Praise tho, this city has been ripped apart by one scandel to the next. This damage brought about a change in attitude in town that only an Act of God can do. Neighbors helping neighbors, people actualy waving and smiling at each other on the street. It is only one week after the storm and I tell you not even 9/11 brought people this close together in town. Thank You Lord for the wonders You have done with a storm. (By the looks of town you would think a Tornado touched down but it was 90 mph sheering winds)
It has now been almost 2 months since I lost my job. We have had some set backs with our savings that will prevent me from attending NQC. While this may seem to be bad He (as He always does) has worked it for His good. First, I have spent more time with my children this summer than I ever have before and would not trade a single second of that time. Praise God for restoring a close bond in my family that was gone cause Daddy worked away to much.
Meredith and I both applied for a company last week who called and has offered us both a job. If I were still going to NQC I would not be able to accept it due to training conflicts. This job for 6 weeks will have us traveling out of town every day for training. After those weeks of training we will be working from our house taking IT calls for corporations. Combined wrking from home we will make more per week than I was making working almost 60 hrs a week from my last job.
This job will enable us to both be active parents with our children and give us the time off when needed to be at school functions. It is exactly what we have been looking for. Thank You Lord for Your perfect timing and will.
Ok there are many more lol but I will hold it there.

Information Tech. Basicaly you buy a certain compainies said product and have problems I will be the one on the other end of the phone to help you through the issue.

We got my Mom's biopsy report back... NO cancer! PTL.
My Dad is feeling better after a medication change.. please continue to pray for him.
I had a wonderful Baptist nap today and feel much more rested. I was so exhausted from this past week at work.

I want to post one final update about Devin, the little boy that was in the 4-wheeler accident. His grandma was at the Fellowship Meeting Saturday, and testified about how it is wrapping up.
He was at the doctor last Thursday, and was released from doctor's care! He doesn't have to go back until December or January. He went fishing with his grandpa Friday! His grandma was re-telling a few of the details, and I don't want to repeat stuff I already told you, but I just have to sum this up. She said that when they got him to the hospital, they gave him *no chance* of surviving surgery. The doctor asked his dad if he even wanted them to do surgery. Of course he did!
Gracie (the grandma) met the lady that had something to do with the helicopter that airlifted Devin when they went to the doctor's last week. She asked Gracie if that little boy was still alive. When Gracie told her how he was, she said, "I didn't know if there was a God in heaven, but I do know!"

Yes, it really is two in one. Probably more than that; we just don't know about all of them! For example, another lady said that every time the doctor sees him, he says, "You know this is a miracle, don't you?"
It is a barbed wire fence ... not a clean cut. They said that "two more things" and he would have been entirely decapitated. That is one month ago ... and now he is out fishing with his grandpa!
Of course, he can still use prayer. That is a horrible emotional trauma for a little tyke.

1. Son's new diabetes treatment working well...controlled & loosing weight
2. G'son got well-paying PT job that may well become FT
3. d-i-l's broken ankle healing well
4. Son, d-i-l, g'dau had safe and fun trip to PF/G'burg last weekend
5. I can use my arm again & lift it almost all the way upright
6. Allergies improved even if haven't had frost yet
7. Cooler weather with some badly needed rain, but protected from bad storms and tornadoes that were quite close, and more badly needed rain expected next week
I know there's more, but this will suffice for now
Our Lord's Blessings are bountiful and His Grace and Mercy are limitless
All Thanksgiving and Praise unto Him

Due to an extreme sensitivity to fluorescent lights, I stay away from a lot of places. The negative side-effects of such lighting are immediate and severe.
In the past several years, I have worn pink tinted sunglasses to help combat this particular problem. Lately, they haven't been very effective, though.
I wanted to help some friends today . . . which necessitated my being in a store all day that is completely lit by fluorescent lights.
Instead of my pink sunglasses though, my friends convinced me to try some very dark "regular" sunglasses. I finally decided to listen to them and to try it.
I wore the sunglasses all day today . . .AND stayed in the store for 8 hours today (with the exception of a few minutes here or there to run errands or to take phone calls).
The only side effect was a very tiny headache that started about 30 minutes before we left the store . . . AND then went completely away within about 10-15 minutes of our leaving the store.
I cannot convey to y'all what this means to me and what a liberation it is!
But Our Lord certainly knows.
