I thank God today for giving me grace to love and forgive without expecting it in return,,, To be loved by Christ changed me.

I thank G-d that I got the worst parts of life over with in my first 50 years. I thank Him that the worst of the worst were completed in my first 19 years.

I thank G-d that I am not like all the rest of you -- robbers, evildoers, adulterers -- or even like you tax collector and lawyers. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of everything I receive.
Bwahahahaha! It had to be written!
But really, I am thankful, so thankful, for all I have. I am thankful for life. I am thankful for my family. I am thankful for the things G-d has so generously provided. I am thankful for my job -- and I need to get off here and get to work!!!
Bless G-d! Bless His Name! He is so far-more generous to us than any of us deserve. What a Father!
And what a Creator! Wow, this day is beautiful! The mountains reach high into a perfect sky, the blue touching white without either absorbing the other. The trees, the birds, the children playing, even the distant dog barking -- what wonders!

I was asked to teach at Children's Camp in August. I can already see that my summer is going to be waaayyyyy different than I thought it would be!

I have so much to be thankful for! First of all, I'm thankful to have the Lord Jesus Christ in my life. I'm thankful for my salvation more than anything in this world. Second of all, I am blessed with a very loving family, especially a husband who is a follower of Christ. I'm thankful for good health and improved finances. God has brought us up from the ashes after my husband was displaced from high tech in 2001.
The Lord is so good to us. I can't thank Him enough!

What do I not thank Him for, I am alive because of Him, I am saved because of the work He did, I am able because He abides in me. Praise the Lord for all of the blessings He has bestowed upon me.

Where do I begin?...................my soul that He saved, His Son that He gave, my life that is new, this peace that is true..........I am thankful most of all that God is not like man, that HE is GOD alone and there is none beside HIM. I'm thankful that even though I was a wretch, a filthy, lying, stealing, hateful something or other....HE decided to clean me up and put a new heart within me. I'm thankful to God that He has given us His own Spirit to help with the regeneration because LORD only knows, along with a few other folk, how I used to be and was ready to explode on anyone with the quickness. But now, I think about HIM and all I want to do...is please HIM. Thank YOU LORD for just...everything, especially your LOVE which is far more than this world can ever hope to know or feel.

At times, it seems as if it would be difficult to find things to be thankful for. I am bedridden with a chronic/terminal illness, way too young. My husband suffers from severe depression & is abusive. We only have 2 rooms to live in, one of which is so crowded, up to the ceiling, that there is barely a path for people to walk. I could go on, but I won't. There is always something to be thankful for, always some reason to praise the Lord.
I am thankful that there is a roof over my head and that my room has air conditioning, which is a necessity due to my health. I am thankful for the beautiful sunshine that is filling up my room, giving it a cheery look. I am thankful for my beloved kitty who lies, curled up, against my leg. She is my ever-faithful feline companion. I am thankful that there is still money to pay the bills. I am thankful that the weather forecast is good for the day I have to go to the doctor. My friends all seem to be leaving for their vacations; but I am thankful that I HAVE friends to miss when they are away. And most importantly, I am thankful that I know the Lord will always love me, will always be with me until I return to Him.
