I saw some awesome fireworks last night. They had a ton of them that felt like you're getting punched in the chest. Perfect night for them too; it was clear, no wind and about 70 degrees.

Hi everybody. Glad you enjoyed the fireworks, Steve. Hitchcock has never been a favourite of mine.

I miss the fireworks we used to see in PA. They would echo off the mountains, so you'd hear each one several times. Do they do that in the Tetons, SharMar?

I have to admit it still does. Yep, it certainly gave me shivers, and I just saw it day before yesterday for the first time (oh, I already said that, didn't I?).

Donna - we get that around here because they use the river valley as a safe place. Funny, when we saw them last week at the picnic they were on top of the hill and we were commenting on missing that extra noise. Where did I post about drive-thru fireworks? Here or PS Support.

Thanks Kath Hey, did y'all want to hear about the drive-thru fireworks???? We don't go to fireworks for the 4th, in favor of the community festival ones, but we ended up in a larger town on the 3rd to get groceries. The plan was to leave Walmart and go to Dairy Queen where they were serving THIN MINT blizzards. We were loading the car and heard 'booming' and looked in the direction of the sound and saw the sky get bright and the occasion 'real' fireworks. When we tried to place the area, we decided they were between us and DQ and Poppa decided to go anyhow. We drove into town and the display. We ended up driving toward, beside, UNDERNEATH and behind the display. As we sat at DQ, we watched part of the show. It was just the neatest thing. And, they were exploding over a river valley so we had lots of noise to go with it.

The noise is half the fun. I can watch from our balcony but it isn't as fun. All we hear is little pops.

Maybe if you take enough of it you will trip 360 degrees back to normalcy. Not that I would know about that (either tripping or normalcy).
