I've seen the male Sam; he doesn't have a goatee.

Besides, Bill is the one that uses ; no matter who else uses it, I always think of him because he was the first one (that I know of) to use it on a regular basis. He's been using it for years, I think.



Come to think of it, I always think of "Laura . . ." when I see . I'm not sure, but wasn't that smiley created for her or at her request? (Way back in early 2005 when all the portals were merging together)




I'm sure that if someone says, "Sam," that we'll be able to figure out who they're talking about by the context of the the post.

Besides a little confusion never hurt anyone . . . and a little confusion is actually mandatory in this thread. It makes for better comprehension, doncha know.
