My husband is very funny.

One thing he does (which he did this morning) is say, "That sounds like a country song..." and then he'll sing whatever he just heard in country song style.

[:)] I find it very funny and sweet.

My husband MADE me go buy some nice clothes for my birthday. I hate to shop. But after some gentle pushing and encouraging and extreme patience, I found a couple of nice things.
So in return, I made sure one of those nice things was a pair of high heels (I only wear heels for him [;)] )

When I woke up yesterday morning very tired, very out of sorts and very nauseous (I'm in the first trimester of my second pregnancy) he told me to go back to bed and he would watch Nadia. That meant the world to me. I am so grateful for my thoughtful husband.

My hubby is a truck driver. He hauls wood chips or sawdust from the Mescalero Apache Tribe sawmill that's near us, to the Horse Race Track at Sunland Park near El Paso. Some days, like this morning, he was gone before I got up. Some days he leaves and forgets to say goodbye which I called and gave him a hard time over. Anyway, this morning, he called about quarter to seven. LOL! Because of the noise of his truck, and the fact that he needs the wax cleaned out of his ears, he yells alot when he calls. This morning he says, "Hey baby, just called to see if you were up and BYE!!!" He's just too cute for words............

I've been getting our house ready to put onto the market. It is a really nice house and it will be sad to leave it, but work is too far away to stay here.

Anyhow, it has fallen mostly on my shoulders to get the house uncluttered, clean and ready to show. Wow, what a job that is...and to keep it that way while we still live there!

So m'love told me that this Friday we are going out to get dinner, no arguement! We will either go to a relaxing restaurant or get chinese take-out and snuggle on the couch. End of story, he has spoken.

gotta love it!

One night in bed he told me this wondrful romantic story about two troubled souls who met and fell in love, found God and lived happily. It was very long and detailed. It was our real story. It was so sweet to hear it told like a romantic novel. It definitely made my heart melt.

He had some free time and went surfing the web. He came across an article the history of England and in particular Sweeny Todd. On his commute back from work, he called me and related the WHOLE story to me on the phone.

How's that, sharing the history of old murders. How sweet in his own special way. [;)]

Last Sunday we finished up a class held at our church called sacred marriage They had wash tubs. He stood up ( the firsrt one, and not like him) Took my hand lead me over and took my socks off he began to wash my feet. With tears in his eyes, he said that I was a wonderful wife and he loved me with all his heart. I could'nt help but begin to cry my self it was so emotional you could feel gods presents and when we got home we cuddled up and took a nap.

I could list a hundred things, I have the best husband in the whole world. Last night I was busy getting the lunches and stuff for today ready. I was behind because my kids didn't tell me they were out of socks. Without being asked he took the twins to bed, read them a story, played a little and prayed with them. I peeked around the corner as they were praying and he had both of their hands in his and it just melted me.

On Saturday while I was cleaning, I walked through the den and saw Brian watching "Man vs. Wild".... while folding laundry. [:D] I thought it was so funny to see him watching that tough-guy show while gently folding our undies. With no prompting from me, either!!!

This morning my dh was running slightly behind schedule. He left the room and came back in to pray with and for me. He said he could not leave before giving God thanks for me and asking him to keep me safe. I love that man.

Enjoying God's dump truck of BLESSINGS!!!!

I came home last night to find that Brian had already cooked dinner!! YAY! He recently got a grill, now that we have a house with a back porch to keep it on, and he's been cooking often lately. I love it.

Hello Saints,

Well yesterday was a very rainy day in our home town. My love and I were to run an errand to the home improvement store. First, I thought it was very thoughtful of him to pull the truck up on the lawn to pick me up so that I would not get wet. Second, we were on the way to the home improvement store when suddenly he turned into a very nice restaurant and surprised me with a wonderful dinner. He usually is not a person with many surprises, but lately he has been changing. Please pray for us that our relationship can grow stronger and stronger. Now I need him to commit to bible study and church so that the Lord can be apart of both of our lives.

I love sharing good news about marriage. I've been on the dark side and am blessed that now I'm on the bright side.
This morning, when I was up making our coffee, I heard my husband's computer kick on and it started playing a song by Chicago. He set his yahoo radio to play all love songs this rainy morning.

Paul worked for 16 hours yesterday. I had supper ready when he came home, along with one of his favorite desserts. He was so grateful! It was so sweet of him to be so thankful after his incredibly hard day.
And then to top it off he asked me how he could help me out after he was finished eating!
His sweet thoughtfulness made me melt. I love him so much!

My husband has been going through a difficult time, and has been second-guessing a lot of decisions he has made in his lifetime. I've been trying to encourage him, but this is a dark valley for him. But he said one thing in the midst of his dark valley that really melted me. He said, speaking of our marriage, "I don't know about a lot of the things I've done, but one thing I know for sure: I did the right thing about you."

Please pray for him![sm=icon_smile_shy.gif]

On Saturday, we went to a friend's birthday party. I wore a nice blouse and slacks, but nothing new or extra special. That night, just as we were falling asleep, out of the blue Brian said, "You looked so pretty tonight! I just wanted to tell you that."

Then on Sunday afternoon, he took my car and filled it up with gas and washed it so that I would start off the week with a full and clean car.
