i have listened to the book of genesis because i have it on CD and the part that gets me is, it sounds like this world was already in darkness, and for how long we do not know, so when God created light to get rid of the darkness, the serpent was already there on the scene ready to destroy mankind and to separate mankind from the love of God, so when the enemy was cast out of heaven along with the fallen angels were they ruling the world before God came into the picture where he separated light from darkness, ans as you can see, from the fall, a lot of paganism came into play, worship idols, and fortune tellers and mediums, because of all of this the world has been left with a curse, but when Jesus stepped into the picture he became that curse for those whom he came to save, and their was still paganism going on as well, and there are a lot of religions out there today with different explanations, but to me, pagan worship is worshiping the enemy, the evil one and is not a part of God+Jesus, look at the book of Jonah, they were pagan worshipers.....

Calling people of other religions "The Enemy" is the reason why there are wars being fought in the name of God.

As far as I know, there were never any wars over religion till christianity.

If others religion do not hurt you, why would they be the "Enemy?"

Not historically true.

Many would argue that Christianity (real biblical Christianity) started with the beginning of mankind, of our known time and existence. In that it all started with "In the beginning....."

Absolutely! Also, Jesus was first "mentioned" in Genesis - Genesis 3 v 15.

I believe that Jesus is first mentioned in Gen 1:3 "Let there be light"

see John 1:3, and Col 1:16

Ever heard of the Spartans and the Trojans? And, I am not talking about the Michigan State and Univeristy of Southern California football teams. You have bought into the revisionist history taught at most schools of lower learning.
