Ok, I passed on leaving any comments on last weeks race, Edwards' DNF ruined what had the potential to be a good run for my team. So, it's a new week and I'm ready for some beatin' and bangin' at Bristol.

Just as a side note, I thought Speed did a nice tribute to DJ on "Race Day".

Well, Fritz, the "Busch Brothers' Bash" really did you in yesterday, huh?

I was one "scrub" pick away from a really decent day. I had thought about taking David Ragan, but took Aric Almirola instead ... !

This has been an awful year for me. the only consistancy for me has been Jr., and he hasn't won anything yet. At least his engines are holding together this year.

Gotta hope my drivers can start finishing in the top spots more consistantly, or this year is going to be over before the end of May.

Wow ... if you got a 2, 3 and 4, you can afford to be "killed" by Hamlin! *L*

LOLOL - yeah, well, after Talladega, I was in BIG trouble. At least I've made up one spot. But, my goal is to break 700 each week, and I've had 5 consecutive below that, with several WAY below - so I'm not happy. This stuff is bringing out the competitive side in me. LOLOLOL

I know what you mean ... I find myself yelling at stiffs like Brian Vickers, for not being able to stay in the top 25!

Better than I expected after that opening crash.................still - 2 people in the group had over 700 - I was not too much under it. I still desire to break 700 each race. Oh well......

I picked the wrong Roushketeer ... any other one, and I'd have salvaged a decent day. Instead I took the one that could've won ... and finished dead last. DOH!

I haven't been on the site for a long while.....had a lot of disappointments in the first segment, but it looks like I wasn't alone. I've shared a few chuckles with my son reading some of y'all's comments. Oh well, we do this to have some FUN, right folks?

Here's to a "funner" 2nd segment....just hope I can stay awake to make it to the end of tonight's race.

LOL - well, I just slept through about half of Indy, so I should be wide awake.

I just wish the races were timed so some of these guys could do the double! I LOVED when that happened in the past.

FINALLY!!!

Four top ten's. A 700+ night. First segment was lousy, maybe the second will be better. It couldn't get much worse.

Who'dve thought we'd get to the day where Mark Martin was our lame duck pick at Dover, and we were disappointed in Brian Vickers finishing 13th?

... and THIS week my undoing from a GREAT result is ... Kyle Busch!?!?

Incidentally, I was at Pocono yesterday -- I've been there before, but never for a race (qualifying, and the driving school), even though it's less than a 90 minute drive for me. I regularly go to Dover, and have been to Richmond, Bristol, Charlotte & California. Now I know why! Man, you can't see hardly ANYTHING from the grandstand! You can see the backstretch, which is waaaaaay far away from you, but the short shoot is blocked by RV's, and then the grandstand is set up so that you can only see the section of the front stretch RIGHT in front of you, and only the cars that aren't running up against the wall (which most do).

So there's your free tip, if you're contemplating going to a race in the Northeast. Go to Dover. Or save your money and do Bristol, Richmond or somewhere else where the racing is good & the views are worth the price you paid.

Love it when the bad guys finish last!!!

730 this week, the second section is going well for me, just wish I could erase the first section.

You should've HEARD the boo's he got on Sunday (and the cheers he got when he wrecked ... and then wrecked again!). He's officially now supplanted everyone else -- Tony, Jeff, his brother -- as the guy everyone loves to hate.

I did better, but then again, so did everyone else! LOL

2nd segment is NOT my time, evidently.

Wow! 2 more races til the "Chase" begins......is it just me, or does it seem like interest has dropped off considerably this season? As for myself, I have a new job that severely limits my ability to have access to a computer. Also, experienced computer meltdown (home computer) about 6 months ago, it took awhile to save up for a new one. So, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it! But.....no posts here since 6/15? what's up with that?????? Could it be that "The Rascal" (#18) has SOOOOOOO dominated this season that fans have lost interest? (just askin' here folks.I'm not a Kyle fan either),or, are we just busy doing other stuff in our lives?

I think my race team results have reflected how much a lack of having a computer has hurt me, as I often have weeks at a time when I can't strategize....did decent at the Brickyard, and the two previous races, but that's all.
It must have been good to see Carl give Kyle a shove for the bump-n-run win last week....(I missed the race on TV and radio).
