Shame on you! You are jumping right into Easter without giving any thought to the time change or St. Patty's Day.

Tonight is the new moon and we are celebrating that by going to the first night of the season for the drive in movie!

perhaps I should repent. I am in the deep south and it is snowing today. So much for global warming.....

And I was always told that God sent lightning bolts to fry sinners.

We woke up to snow here in Alabama and my four year old daughter proclaimed, "It's Christmas Again!"

ummm.... you had your dh with you didn't you?

I love drive-ins. We had one in Indiana and it was so fun to go!

I'm going to have to look for one around here because my neices have never had the experience.

BOT... my dad is going to have surgery on St. Patty's day. Is there going to be a problem if the hospital doesn't give him a green gown, even though he's not Irish?

I'd be less worried about the gown than the green blood they give on St. Pat's Day!

I know memory is the first to go, but I think I could have
figured out to roll the windows up. ROFL.

Maybe I'll just have to give dad a bunch of these smileys on a card:

probably best not to give him these though:

That was also a lesson that I learned very quickly while sitting in the seat behind my dad with his fresh wad of chewing-tobacco.

I see there is an obvious need to clarify.

The night we went to the drive in was 14 degrees. BRRR

I did have Rick with me and we did cuddle under the blankets we brought and the windows were up.

We started the car every so often to turn on the heater, BUT we still could have used another body for heat.

Next time I will bring the neighbors cat to sit on my feet.

LOL.

I have candles for just such occasions also.
Course I'm an X truck driver and have had to sit
beside many iced roads waiting on a wrecker.

When I was young, the fog would have iced over,
not that I would have noticed. You know, all that
hot cocoa.

Let me be the first to wish my crosswalk friends and opponents a very good Good Friday. It was the first day of spring and instead of wearing an easter bunny decorated shirt, I wore my Flowers turning to the Son shirt. In a public school no less.
