Earth Hour has come and gone. It was raining and m'love and I didn't get to go out for a walk so we decided to stretch our legs at the mall. So we had the lights off at home but the mall was blazing in all of it's "glory". It reminded me of why I don't like going to the mall! I used to like window shopping but not-no-more. What a collection of shear STUFF, stuff, and MORE sTuff.

I didn't hear a thing about it up here. Every once in a while they have turn off the lights for something but I can't remember what it is, but they used to do it every year. I don't think many people got involved because I never hear of it anymore.

Funny Story... I overheard some teenagers talking about the different churches they went to. One of them said, "I go to the FMC Methodist church" When someone asked what FMC meant, the wise cracking kid said "It means he only goes on Fathers Day, Mothers Day, and Christmas.

ROFLOL!

If that's the case, I went to EMC Lutheran church. Easter, Mother's Day and Christmas.

I saw this on a church sign:

Beat the Christmas Rush!

At this point in time you may as well have a glass of wine and start putting up your Christmas tree.

While you are at it, might as well listen to some contemporary music. You are already doomed.

I think you're all doomed for posting on this page. This is page six. If you add another two six's then you know what number that is. Just posting on a page that has a six in it is giving the appearance of condoning evil. After all, one six and pretty soon you'll have more.

Now I know that y'all say that I'm posting on a page with a six in it, but I'm just here as a messenger, so I'm ok because I'm warning you of your impending doom and sin.

I have a Christmas shirt that I wear on all holidays. When people ask me about it, I say "I can't let all these interloper holidays try to get all the glory." I mean they call Christmas 'the holidays' for crying out loud.

So as to not get completely OT i am wearing it today, not on the sixth so as to defile it.

Did we miss a holiday?

Glad you didn't wear it yesterday and defile it.

Yes, in my home it is known as Only Clean Shirt Day!

I did wear it on April Fool's, so it's making it's way back in the rotation. Yes I need some new shirts.

Oh, we celebrate that holiday weekly in my house!

Goodness, now I know we're doomed because cleanliness is next to Godliness.

I guess your household can celebrate "the maid is coming" day?

I did an evil thing. I was going out of town and left the trash can full. I figure the family member who is responsible for taking out the trash will actually have to do it sometime this week.

If you are young as me (30) and as cluttery as me never give your neat freak parents an emergency key to your apartment. You will come back from vacation and your apartment will be clean! Or was that the plan all along?

and I thought I was old, my kids are 18 to 25. No grand babies yet... no hurry either. My daughter's roommate's parents cleaned up their apartment once as a gift.

Mine had an ulterior motive. My apartment becomes a receptacle for furniture that my family doesn't want at their house, but don't want to get rid of (because it might match some new wallpaper in the future or something). I came back and had twice as much furniture.

Not that I minded. The only thing that really cheesed me was they took down my Christmas tree that had been up since October.
