Nah, I like Steve where he is. Some say they don't prefer his singing, but his soft voice is a great switch every now and then from powerhouse Arthur.

He's also a Top 10 Baritone this year, so there are others that agree.

Now, if he wants to add a 4th musician I'm all for that!

Well I think Steve has a GREAT singing voice. Better than some I could name, but won't.....HA!
Also, Steve is one of the greatest emcee's I've seen around in a very long time. His humor is not dry, and he knows how to make you laugh and hold your attention. Another thing, Arthur Rice is the GREATEST singer that has or ever will be with the Kingdom Heirs, IMO...........

I really enjoy Steve's voice and the way it blends with the rest of the guys. I'm actually sitting here at work right now listening to one of their older recordings and Steve sounds incredible on it! I definitely think he's where he should be: singing and emceeing!

I also think Steve is right where he belongs. Josh is a great singer and he will land where God's plan has him. He would like to come to your church and display his ability.

Looking forward to meeting you Leigh. I may be the ticket lady, not sure. LOL. A good friend of mine is promoting this and using a trio of mine to open.

See you then!

Well we took a little trip to Dollywood today to see the Kingdom Heirs and as expected they never disapoint. Josh Garner did a great job filling in for Steve as well as Arthur performing the emcee duties. They sung several of their old songs as well as their new ones. One of my favorite parts was when they sang from the old red back hymnal. Arthur also reafirmed my belief that he is without a doubt the best lead singer in the business.

There's nothing like an unexpected trip to Dollywood to see the Kingdom Heirs (we just decided last night that we were going today). Like BRBB said, they sounded great. It was pretty neat getting to see Josh Garner with them, he sounded great. The highlight of the day for me was when they performed "What We Needed" during the third show. It is such an amazing song, but it is so much better live. By the way Dennis Murphy said they would have a new project out this summer. He didn't say what it would be but I'm guessing it is Series 2.

Steve is going to be singing today. He returned an e-mail and stated that he will be at Dollywood today.

When we went down last weekend they said they had a new one in the works due out this summer. Dennis Murphy said it would have around twenty songs including some hymnals and some re-recordings.

Bobby, I am sure there will be some posters there. Maybe they will see this and say if they will be there and I will let you know.

Bobby, we're still going on the 12th and we might catch a KH set while we're there. GB loves singing, so maybe.

The Kingdom Heirs are one of my favorite groups. Arthur Rice and Jeff Chapman recently recorded the vocals on two song demos for my dad. Arthur did the lead, tenor, and baritone and Jeff did the bass...and they did it well!!!

It would be great if they recorded one or both of these songs on their next album....let's keep our fingers crossed.

I see the FRUITS & NUTS have once again run the Kingdom Heirs out of their home. They will be sharing the Celebrity with James Rogers this summer. No where to sit and wait for the next show. O Well. We've been through it before.

They're not in their normal theater anymore? Is the new one a nicer or crummier stage?

They are usually in the Show Street Palace in Dollywood. During Kids Fest the Veggie Tales talk over that theater. It has a sunken stage that they work from, similar to that at The Miracle Theater. The Veggie Tales characters are refered to as the Fruits & Nuts. Sorry you don't watch them on TV then you would know. You may be a little old for them.

I heard from Steve that "What We needed" was number 1 in the July charts from Singing News. Way to go Kingdom Heirs!

Yes!

Of all the singles I've heard in the past year, that one is one of the ones that most deserved to go to the top.
