ORIGINAL: foreverdaughter Forget the Swimsuit Issue, apparently there are much greater concerns out there. I have a toddler boy and I am scared to death for him to enter into this world. I honestly pray the Lord comes back before then. Some of your post tones sound like this, or maybe I am just taking it this way----"Oh, yeah, it's all around us, it's out there, kids are gonna see it, who ha, can't do nothin about it." I would like to know if any of you men have children and the ages and what you are doing about these issues. Don't get me wrong, I am not telling you what to do, it's your family, I just wanna know what other families are doing to protect their children from the Internethell and the Televisionhell. I am a married man and have a baby boy. I am also a close uncle to my two nieces (ages 9 and 4) that live across the street from us. I was also a pastor for over a decade and know that many of those that did all they could to shelter and censor everything from their kids have children who dropped out of high school, got pregnant, got into drugs, went to jail, went nuts when they got out of their sheltered bubble. I am not saying that is an absolute.. but I do know that we are to raise our children in the Word and not pretend that there is no evil out there. Because then they will most likely rebel and or do things behind their parents back. My biggest point in all of this that an issue of SI is FAR FAR FAR from anything to be highly concerned about when we consider the real evils out there for all to see.
