I waster too much time in front of the TV. I am lazy.

I was going to be a procrastinator but I kept putting it off.

I like Jericho, 24, LOST, Sarah Connor, I watch American Idol because my wife like's it. I like Life and K-ville. I bought the Firefly box set.

I am an 'advocate' for a missionary family for our church but my heart is not in it and I am going to give it up.

I think of myself as a kid sort of. I tend to get excited about new stuff I learn and want to tell everyone, then I feel like i've acted immature. I just don't see myself as an "adult" even though I have been for way too long.

My ears ring all the time.

Am I a bad person? Yes, but we won't get into that...

J

I was the "PINK KING" during Christmas church program. I wasn't crazy about doing it. Last night the music director calls and wants me to be a disciple in the easter program. My excuse! I do not have one so I will have to flat turn him down. I feel bad... and good because I know that I will say... NO. I've learned this valuable word with old age.

I purchased a riding lawn mower a few years ago. It was a new toy... "best money I ever spent". I talked about it to everyone like IT was a lover.

Mine too! I think it is tinnitus.

I don't like it either! It's not all it's cracked up to be. I do what I have to do until I can play.

I love old time Bluegrass / Country music.

I am just not of the typical "demographic" for this genre - LOL!

(Would never buy it, though -- what I own was given to me...)

Neither did I. I did my best to try to work up a tear or two because nearly everyone else in the theater was bawling, but I just couldn't do it. Not that I wasn't touched by the movie, 'cause I WAS! . . . but for some reason my eyes stayed annoyingly dry.
Looks like we're both bad Christians

I'm a big fan of Battlestar Galactica. *gasp* "but. . .but. . .that's science fiction. . .which is almost like fantasy, and we know Christians aren't supposed to like fantasy!" *head shake*

Worse than that, I've read all the Harry Potter books, and enjoyed them!

My sister who is the rebel Christian of the family.... abhors going to church, questions the faith a lot and is into reading New Age books.. allows her two daughters (ages 9 and 4) to watch the Simpsons, etc.. since birth. She buys them all the Harry Potter books, the movies, the Golden Compass, etc.., allow them to play video games and watch Saturday Night Live, etc..

My two nieces?

Write love letters to Jesus, tell them (my sis and brother in law) to pray every day, that Jesus is God and ruler of all, recite Psalms they learn on their own!, are extremely well mannered, and they are both book worms, geeks to the point where they cry when school is not in session and when they can't go to the library every week.

It's the oddest thing I have ever seen.

Yet we have some parents that only let their kids watch Veggie Tales, censor all things, no video games above a rating of Y and those are the kids that are little demon children.

God does have a sense of humor.

LOL! Yes he does.

I just thought of another one that might shock some people.

I have absolutely no interest in end-time events. That's right, I said it. I DO NOT CARE!
I know that one day the world as we know it will end and those of us who belong to Christ will spend eternity with him. But aside from that, the when and where and how it will happen really doesn't amount to a hill of beans, just so long as I'm always ready!

Same here and I know I will be ready because that depends on Jesus and not me.

I don't like the movie.

I hate the song, "Butterfly Kisses" and just about any song written by him.

Good one, 'dance4joy'!

So, how much longer do you anticipate 'being out there'?

LOL! It's true, those Mormons are probably trying to get into our subconcious. . .kinda like that Number 8 Cylon!

The original Battlestar Galactica was a bit before my time, but I'm sure if I would have liked it too!

Me, too. It is what it is and I know where I (and my kids) are going so what difference does it make?

Another one for me.....I attend a church that I don't know the doctrinal teachings of. Like are they OSAS? Pre-Trib or post-trib? I just don't know. I like the preaching, I like the people, I like the music. Good enough.

My lest favorite song ever written is "I am a Friend of God." You know, that ear-splitting modern worship fluff (hard to call it music). If I ever hear it played, I just change the lyrics to "God is my only friend" or sometimes "I am God's only friend."

I think that blue m&ms are an invention of the devil, and are a sure sign of the apocalypse.

I DID NOT realize THAT! Does that mean if I eat them, I'm swallowing
the micro-chip that will identify me as 'marked' by the makers of Twizzlers???
