Welcome to the forums.Ilovetruth! Is it possible that the divinely-inspired authors of Scripture you cite were writing from the perspective of mankind's observations here on earth? Certainly we all "feel" no motion even though the earth is rotating, revolving, and moving through space every moment. Using language of "rising and setting" merely supports the observations we all have as the earth rotates through the morning and evening plane of sunlight, right?
