Yeah me too. . .I tend to keep the same avatar for several months at a time, so when I change it I often don't recognize my own posts right away.

I think the picture identifiers are wonderful. They do often give me a glimpse into the character of the poster.

I do change mine from time to time, but not terribly often.

The one I have right now, I'll probably keep for awhile. I happen to think I was an absolutely adorable child!

Connie, I think it's pretty cool you found a Lucy/Schroeder that actually has your handle/nickname in it.

Are you guys saying it's perfect because I have actually "doinked" you?

My husband is always so pleased when I do that to him.

I actually think DOINK is a fun word to say.

I remember telling you one time that I tried to figure out what you handle meant and came up with Do In Kingdom but I couldn't figure out what it was you were doing in the kingdom.

Just think how pleased God will be when I figure that out as well...

ETA: I saw an interview about Law & Order on TV a while back and the actors refer to the sound in between scenes as the "doink doink" noise.

ah, you know that isn't what I meant.

I L&O. I've even used pictures from it as my avatar. (isn't that smooth how I tied it into the topic? )

I suppose if you knew the struggles I've had lately about what I'm doing or not doing...then it would've made sense and perhaps have been even funny.

Pepe has always been my favorite cartoon character. I always feel a little awkward like the cat with paint stripe, but Pepe is smooth like silk.

ok...what were we talking about again? avatars...that's right

Actually what's really hard is when you are looking for new avatars. There are some HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY offensive ones around the net...

My avvys are usually readily identifiable.

They are either pics or cartoons of me....... or bees of some sort.

Landabee, get it? Ha! I slay myself!

Do other avvys bother me...... a few, but not enough to get my nose out of joing. LOL

Elastic, I've always liked your avatar and your Chloe quote, but then I'm a 24 junkie.

I have seen a few avatars that made me think that the poster was deliberately trying to be provocative.

Most people I reallly like here, but there are just a small handful I would like to provoke. I have to hand it to them. They have not taken the bait. Good for them I say!

........ yeah. I love that dreamy look on Shar-Mar!

Speaking of comics.... I have one of Vicki from Rose is Rose...

Some people took offense at it..... cause she shows a little too much in the leg department.

Ms. O drew a skirt on her for me.... lol! That was WAY back in the day!

I love the Vicki character because I really identify with her.... but I'm bummed that it 'stirred up the waters' so much!
