Iss44: WOF 1. Go to The Narrow Path 2. Click on the link Tape Download Page. 3. Go down to the Word of Faith section and listen the 4 Audio files. Here are some doctrine that WOF Teachers believe: KEN HAGIN: "Because we didn't understand what Jesus said, and because we've been religiously brainwashed instead of New Testament taught. We watered down the promises of God, and tacked on what Jesus didn't say. And added on something else to it. Well, he will be alright, 'if it's His will' But it might not be His will, people have said. And yet you don't find that kind of talk in the New Testament." (Ken Hagin, Christianity In Crisis, audio-tape, Christian Research Institute.) "It is unscriptural to pray, 'If it is the will of God.' When you put an 'if' in your prayer, you are praying in doubt." (Dr. John MacArthur, "Charismatic Chaos," page 349. Ken Hagin, Exceedingly growing faith pg.10) What does the Bible say? James 4:14-16 (New International Version) 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that." 16 As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil. "Why did He need to be begotten or born? Because He became like we were - separated from God. Because He tasted spiritual death for every man. And His spirit and inner men went to hell in my place. Can't you see that? Physical death wouldn't remove your sins. He's tasted death for every man. He's talking about tasting spiritual death. Jesus is the first person that was ever born again. Why did His spirit need to be born again? Because it was estranged from God." (Kenneth Hagin, "How Jesus obtained His Name" Tape 44H01) Jesus did not taste spiritual death. Jesus didn't need to become born again. His spirit was not estranged from God. He did not go to hell to pay for our sins. He paid for our sins on the Cross. What does Jesus say? Luke 23:46 46 And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, "Father, INTO YOUR HANDS I COMMIT MY SPIRIT." Having said this, He breathed His last. "There is no hope of anyone going to heaven unless they believe this truth I am presenting. You cannot go to heaven unless you believe with all your heart that Jesus took your place in hell." (Joyce Meyer, "The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make," Booklet, page 37, 1991 edition) "To be born again you must believe:...He went to hell in your place and gained victory there, triumphing over the enemy (Acts 2:21)." (Joyce Meyer, "The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make," Booklet, page 35-36, 2003 edition)Where does the Bible teach this? What the Bible acctually says: Acts 2:21 21 'AND IT SHALL BE THAT EVERYONE WHO CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.' "God's on the outside looking in. He doesn't have any legal entry into the earth. The thing don't belong to Him. You see how sassy the Devil was in the presence of God in the book of Job? God said, 'Where have you been?' Wasn't any of God's business. He [Satan] didn't even have to answer if he didn't want to." (Hank Hanegraaff, "Christianity in Crisis" page 488. Ken Copeland, "Image of God in You III," Video tape #01-1403) This is all in his mind. Unbiblical. Cannot even be apprehended. "Why didn't Jesus openly proclaim Himself as God during His 33 years on earth? For one single reason. He hadn't come to earth as God, He'd come as a man." (Dr. John MacArthur, "Charismatic Chaos," page 336. Ken Copeland, "Believers Voice of Victory," Magazine August 8, 1988, page 8) Colossians 2:8-10 (New Living Translation) 8 Don't let anyone lead you astray with empty philosophy and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the evil powers of this world, and not from Christ. 9 For in Christ the fullness of God lives in a human body, 10 and you are complete through your union with Christ. He is the Lord over every ruler and authority in the universe. "The righteousness of God was made to be sin. He accepted the sin nature of Satan in His own spirit. And at that moment that He did so He cried, 'My God, My God, Why hast thou forsaken me?' You don't know what happened at the cross. Why do you think Moses, upon instruction of God, raised the serpent upon that pole instead of a lamb? That use to bug me. I said, `Why in the world would you want to put a snake up there - the sign of Satan? Why didn't you put a lamb on that pole?' And the Lord said, 'Because it was a sign of Satan that was hanging on the cross.' He (Jesus) said, 'I accepted in my own spirit, spiritual death; and the light was turned off'." (Dr. John MacArthur, "Charismatic Chaos," page 338. Ken Copeland, "What Happened From the Cross to the Throne?") It really scares me that people are accepting this nonsense. "Adam in the Garden of Eden, was God manifested in the flesh." (Hank Hanegraaff, "Christianity in Crisis" page 338. Ken Copeland, "Following the Faith of Abraham I,") Adam was a man not a manifestation of God.
