I wonder if people are starting to get annoyed with us yet? Surely they have to have noticed by now!

Oh, we're just having a good laugh at an annoyance that we have to deal with all the time. We can't take everything too seriously, or we'd go crackerdog.

It's from a story in one of James Herriot's novels, about a dog named Tricky Woo that has a case of 'flopbot', so when I use the term it comes with a mental picture of the dog in the story.

Okay- curiousity got the better of me and I found my way over here. I am converted. Now I just need to go change my avatar and my sig

Seriously though, I am planning on homeschooling my own kids (when I have some to homeschool) even though I have my teaching degree (currently teaching at a Christian school overseas). Even in working at a Christian school, I still see the benefits of homeschooling. My mom is homeschooling my brothers and has for the past 7 years. By the time I have my own kids, she will have been doing it for over 10 years so she should have lots of advice and resources

I just wanted to say thanks to all who participated yesterday--it was fun. I wish I could have been on here more than I was able to.

You can all feel free to keep these avatars as long as you like, or go back to your old ones whenever you want.

Did someone say even Fritz participated? If that's true, I think we were pretty succesful in taking over the world yesterday.

I know we had a lot of people notice and wonder what was going on.

Cynthia--you had the same idea I did! I was just coming in here to find the complete quote so I could put the whole thing in my signature line. I didn't have to look very far! Great minds think alike!

No, I still get a visual of Pop wearing them his way back when. Cutoffs and no shirt with the cowboy boots on....
