As much as I can't stand her...Corey has the most focus among them.

Chef Ramsey needs Christ or a Paxil.

I wish it was Jen that left. She seems to be a talented cook, but I despise her whining and complaining when someone else makes a mistake, but when she herself makes them, she plays it down as being not so bad. Like forgetting the sauce on those two dishes. If it'd been someone else to have done that, I'd bet she would have droned on and on about it.

As strange it is for Corey and Christina to be working well together, I'd prefer that to their harping at each other. And I know Matt can be sniffling and klutzy and a big mess, but I liked that he found some camaraderie and acceptance on the women's team. He seemed to really enjoy that, and it is nice after being ostracized on the men's side for so long. But as the previews look, he isn't long for the show.

Wasn't it Matt's food during the first episode that Chef threw up? I can't remember now.

You know, I think you're right. I vaguely remember that Matt served up some disgusting concoction involving white chocolate and vegetables(?). I just remember thinking at the time, "Ewwww, I would throw that up, too."

Personally, I wouldn't have Matt cook me a hamburger in a deep fryer. I seriously doubt his skills as a "chef."

MATT IS GONE - FINALLY! They sure didn't have much to show w/ Rock. That segment was disappointing. Would have rather seen more of that than Matt's meltdown. kd

I am so glad he's gone too. I've seen twisted people in reality shows but Matt is sure is one on the top and he was allowed to hold a knife? I was just waiting for something to happen between him and Christina. Next should be Jen.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I didn't see last season, so I really would have liked to have gotten to know Rock more. He seemed like a pretty steady guy, so I would have loved to hear more of what he told Jen and Christina.

Ditto to what you said, too, Jodavi. Matt scared me. All that foul language he used towards Christina--I could see him slapping a woman around if he thought she was getting too outspoken. Absolutely good riddance.

I must say I agree with Chef. Matt's problems aside, couldn't the rest of them pull it together and work as a team? Sheesh, it looked like one of those clown acts they show during halftime for a rodeo.

Honestly, except for Bobby, I can't really see anyone running Chef's new restaurant. Although Bobby can be irritating sometimes, he did have a point last night when he talked about staying cool while everybody else fell apart.

If I remember right, there were times we didn't think Rock could win this thing, but he pulled it out in the end.

The thing about Matt that got to me was his constant denial. He really thought he had a chance to win this thing, even though he seemed to be in trouble every week. And in spite of his psychotic personality, he was very nice to chef when he was leaving & made very nice comments afterwards. Talk about circus act - that may be just what some of these folks are! Can't wait to hear Jen's comments as she's walking out the door. Will she be totally serious or her usual annoying self! kd

Rock had his moments too last year. He was hot tempered but you can tell his passion on what he was doing and so glad he won.

Yeah, there were times when I didn't like Rock, either, but he was definitely the best for the job.

I am sooo glad Matt is gone!!! What a looney!!! He had his good moments, but the chopping off of the finger and constant whining got on my last nerve!!!

There's been some not-too-appetizing things going in HK. The lost end of the finger, the sweat in the papperdelle (sp?) and wasn't it on last season where a chef threw (I think it was) spaghetti in the garbage, only to fish it out to actually try to serve it? Ew.

That said, the irony of it, I like Petrozza, even with his rather unkempt self. And it was good seeing Rock again, looks like he's doing well.

After watching this, I couldn't be paid to go in there & eat. Never know what might end up in the food! kd

I did read that that the customers gets paid $50 and the meal. So it's kinda interesting watching some of them fuming when waiting for their food since they are getting paid but then it's part of the show.

50$ doesn't make you feel very good when you've been sitting there for an hour waiting for your food.

I think Jen should be on the chopping block next. When she goes it will be fascinating to hear what she says. It'll either be, "There's no way I should be gone. I'm the best one there." Or it will be "It was all everybody else's fault. If only X had done[blank] this wouldn't have happened to me."

You know, all of these people are supposed to have experience as a professional chef before they come on the show. Honestly, though, I wonder how some of them managed to do that. How did they survive in other kitchens before coming here? And why would anybody want to hire them after leaving this show?

Yeah, you would think this could hurt them & they probably can't go back to the place they came from......or considering this is pre-recorded, they are up on the chopping block at work right now! k

They are probably told to act annoyed and complain.

I actually would feel confidant to eat in that restaurant. Chef Ramsey is very particular and has thrown away food many times that I have thought well you could still use that. Like throwing away perfectly good food because it didn't come up to the pass at the same time. He has high standards for his food. If it isn't exactly right he won't serve it.

I am so glad Matt is finally gone as well. I would like to see Jen go next.

I'm glad Matt is gone!

I'm not sure $50 is enough for some of the food these people get served.

I'd do it, but I'd eat before I go. I am sure if I tasted it it would be the best food I have ever ate. I'm sure he charges more than 50 for the whole meal if you actually could afford to eat at one of those restaurants. I think most of them are actors because all of the patrons seem awfully attractive. So they are told to either really hate the food or really enjoy it.

I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!! (on Chef Ramsay's tone)
How in the world was she able to stay again? But then I was not surprised because when they showed her packing, I told hubby....she might not be going home tonight.
Christina- she's starting to remind me of Heather (I think that was her name) from Season 2-the winner. The way she's presenting herself the last few episodes.

I'm hoping that she goes home next week. They probably want her exit to be dramatic.
