mimicthechrist -> RE: Which one, God, Satan or Me??? (4/9/2008 1:01:08 AM)

I would like to tell you it is very easy, but it isn't. I would like to make a few suggestions though. First, always address your prayers. In the Lords Prayer, Jesus begins with "OUR FATHER, who art in heaven". Fasting and praying, always puts the speed on an answer. Fasting does not have to be the forty day trial. You can say, devote every morning for a week, it is slower, but not as trying, when you are working, or a busy mother, etc. If you are not beginning, and ending your day with scripture reading, praying, praising, don't even think about it. If you ask God for a sign, or a confirmation, you will get it. And, always pray, preferably with two or more, when preparing for an assignment. God always prepares me for an assignment. Starting a bible study is a very serious thing. You must be prepared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been in several cell groups, and they became very serious, very quickly. one girl was having an affair with a married man. A minister who had quit, had a crisis in the middle of the bible study, crying, speaking in tongues, etc. I'm telling you of just two instances, there were many other things that happened that I could say. There are always people searching for God, alot of them in crisis, that will just take over with their personal problems, and you won't even get to even study. God will speak to anyone, that will listen, anyone that will hear, anyone, that will see, anyone that seeks him, is suffering, or in pain. He will bring a messenger also, sometimes. Remember this: He does not leave us nor forsake us, and as long as you are obedient to the word, you will not greive the Holy Spirit. Relax and enjoy your relationship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Remember the tree has to grow long enough before it can bear fruit. One more thing, he may want you to lead a bible study, it just may not be tomorrow. He plants the seed first, and remember, obedience is better than sacrifice. And, as you grow, your pathway is full of wonderous, awesome things that he blesses you with, a joyous heart, agape love, gifts you never even knew you had, word you never even heard yourself speak, and you run to see just what that means. A hidden mystery that he speaks to you, or a wisdom that comes upon you. I pray that God blesses you and that you bear much fruit. How happy he is when his children turns toward him and says, what do you want me to do. There will be applause from heaven.
