I recently listened to your music for the first time, and I really like your song "The Flame In All Of Us". :) Questions: - How long have each of you been playing your instruments, and what inspired you to learn? - What was the first song you learned on your instruments? - If music wasn't your career, what could each of you picture yourselves doing? - What is your songwriting process? - What are your favorite Bible verses and why? - Who would you like to tour with someday? - What does "Thousand Foot Krutch" mean, and why did you decide to use it as the band name? Thanks! :)

Well, first of all...you're (this is gonna be incredibly cheesy and I apologize...) inspirations to Christian musicians everywhere. Now, for the purpose of this reply. :) -If you could describe band life in three words, what would they be? -What do you want to be remembered for? -Who would you most like to tour with (living or deceased) and why? -What advice would you give to young musicians who are looking to start a Christian band? -How important is audience participation at a show? -When did you all start to think about a career in music? -Do you write the melody first or the lyrics? Thanks! There are MANY more questions out there,...but I think I've added my share. :) Thanks again for crankin out music we can worship AND bounce to. ~Chris <><

WHAT'S UP!?!?!?! By the time you respond to this, I'll have seen you in NYC with Skillet! I have been counting down the days to this concert since the middle of March! This'll be my first time seeing you, and I can't wait! Steve and Trevor- are you guys going to do anymore FM Static stuff soon, when you finish up touring with TFK, or are you going to make some more TFK rawk? (This is just my opinion, but if you do some more FM Static stuff, you should do something with Jason Dunn. I hear you guys are tight) How is it touring with Skillet? Joel- How do you and John Cooper get along (you're both bass players...if you haven't noticed already). Who do you think is better? You guys are amazing! Keep up the GREAT work!!!

Why did you write "The Last Song" (the hidden track at the end of "Wish You Well")? My friends seem to think TFK is disbanding because the song is talking about the memories of the band and stuff. I keep telling them I don't think you are, but I'd like to know the real reason why instead!

I have to confess that I haven't really heard much of your music. But, I really love "Breathe You In." Care to share the story/inspiration behind that song? Come to Georgia. I do not see GA on your tour dates. :(

I keep telling them I don't think you are, but I'd like to know the real reason why instead! I want to know this too!! If you break up I'll die!!!! How long did it take you to get over the nervousnes of performing? Who do you look up to in the music industry? what is your favorite type of venue to play? What are your favorite foods? Favorite place(s) to shop? for clothing and such? Will you be putting out another TFK album anytime soon????? When did y'all get saved? What type of church were you raised in? How often did you get discouraged about your music when you were just starting to write? Would you listen to my music and critique it if I sent it to you? I will hopefully have a professinal recording of 4 of the songs I've written very soon, and it would make my year... no, teenage to wheelchair years if one of y'all would listen. Have you ever been to Mexico? (and, would you like to go to mexico? if so, you should play a show in my town. we live 10 miles from the border. in Texas. I'll do whatever I can to give you a tour of Nuevo Progresso. ) Who in the band is hardest to get along with, and how do you deal with it?? (I'm currently in a band and all three of us are pretty stubborn about getting things done our way. but the two boys more than me, of course. ) if you ignore all my other questions please consider this one- is there ANY chance you could possibly make it to camp electic? if not this year, next? www.campelectric.com My dad told me that someone who works there and answers questions said that the bands pretty much say to their friends- we're mentoring kids at this Christian music camp, do you want to come too? and it would be AMAZING if y'all were there. amazing. I know skillet is going to be there.. and you're on tour with them..so yeah! please consider it. seriously. That would be awesome. I guess that's all my questions! p.s. Thank you guys so much for taking time to answer our questions. you are one of my favorite bands of all time. and huge thanks to the GMA/ccmmagazine people who started this up.

First I want to say I'm a huge TFK and FM Static fan and stand in awe (and a little envy) at the gifts God has granted you! I lost my mom to cancer in January. The battle was horrible and painful and I would not wish it upon anyone. With that said, the song "This is a call out" brought me comfort because it gave me a voice at times I didn't feel like I had one. Everyone kept telling me how strong I was and I felt like I was falling apart (and still do at times). I was wondering who was the inspiration for the song and how are they dong today? My second question, I would love to hear your personal testimonies. When did you come to know the Lord and how did your faith change your plans for life? Thanks for all the hard work you put into your music and the long hours riding on planes, trains, and automobiles while being away from home just so we can see you perform. May God bless you and your family for the work you do and the burdens you bear for His sake!

ORIGINAL: ps130 1. How do you stay grounded in your faith? 2. How do you come up with your songs? 3. How did ya'll meet? Trevor started the band in high school. The other guys came on board through the years. We've had several members through the years. We all met through different Ontario musical outlets. We stay grounded in our faith by doing different things. For sure it has to be within the four of us because we're not home enough at our churches. We're probably on the road 40 weekends of the year. Family and friends at home keep us in our roots. Recently I've started downloading different teachings on podcasts and stuff. We have devotionals and stuff on the bus too and we try to encourage each other. Our wives play a big roll in that too. They keep us sane.
